The Red Lion Hotel is one of the oldest public houses on Wooler high street, the core dating back to 1671. It is now a family run pub offering recently refurbished accommodation. A warm welcome is awaits you in this beautiful part of Northumberland. The area is ideal for walkers, ramblers, cyclists, bird watchers, clay pigeon shooters, fishermen or someone wanting to spend a few relaxing days... or longer!We have seven bedrooms, two twins and five doubles, all are ensuite, some with a roll top bath and all are equipped with plasma TV's. A large cooked breakfast will be waiting for you in the morning to set you up for the day. A lunch and evening menu is available through the week and we serve carvery on Sundays. Well behaved dogs are more than welcome and we have storage for bicycles and wet walking gear. Packed lunches can be arranged if requested the night before.
