What are your breakfast options?

For the residents that are staying with us, then the breakfast is included in the overall price; this includes a selection of cereals, fresh fruit and juice, and yogurts. They also have the option of a hot breakfast ranging from a traditional full english / vegetarian breakfast, to smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast. The breakfasts are cooked to preference so whatever the residents desire, we aim to produce for them.

We also do a breakfast menu for the general public which is served from 8:00am - 12:00pm Monday - Friday, and 9:00am - 12:00pm at the weekends. This once again ranges from a pastry selection, toast and breakfast sandwiches, to a full english or vegetarian cooked breakfast. Once again we want to accomodate any individual preferences from customers. The traditional Wiltshire breakfast is £8.95 regular size or £5.95 for a smaller sized portion, including toast and a hot drink or juice.

What transport is available to get around?

There is a bus stop a minute walk away that regularly goes to the nearest towns. Chippenham and Melksham both have train stations, with Chippenham being on the main link for Bristol to London.

What can I do nearby?

The Red Lion is located in the centre of the historic village. Along with the open log fires and wood burners in the pub, we are under a minute walk away from The Lacock Abbey, the famous Tithe Barns and the Fox Talbot Museum.

Outside of the village, we are around a 20 minute drive to Bath, a very historic town, and around 5 minutes away from the nearest town being Chippenham.

We have a free wireless connection to the internet that any of our residents or customers are welcome to use, and this is unlimited access.

Do you provide parking?

There is a large car park, free parking, at the rear of the pub also.
