What are your breakfast options?: Our rooms are sold on a bed and breakfast basis, therefore we provide breakfast in the morning. Served between 8:15am and 9:30am. We have a choice of porridge, fresh fruit, muesli, cereals or cooked breakfasts.
What transport is available to get around?: It's very easy to get around Windermere itself. We are located on two minute walk from the main village. There are regular bus services to and from all the neighbouring villages (Ambleside, Grasmere, Kendal) with very frequent services. The bus station is located right next to the train station (just 5 minutes walk from the hotel).

There is a tour operator called Mountain Goat who offer day tours and collect visitors from the hotel doorsteps.
What can I do nearby?: We work alongside an events company - Lakeland Activity Company who organise events from rock climbing, quad biking, archery, clay pigeon shooting, off-road driving, etc., to pamper breaks and spa retreats. Bowness-on-Windermere is 1 mile from our establishment.
Do you have internet?: Yes, some of our rooms do have wireless capability and it is free. Alternatively, we have a computer available for guests in our lounge for internet access.
Do you provide parking?: We have ample parking at the front and rear of our guest house. Car Parking is complimentary.
