The Raphael Hotel, Autograph Collection s both modern and historic. Built in 1927, the landmark Kansas City Plaza hotel's rooms originally served residents of the Villa Serena Apartments. Its 1975 transformation made it one of the most distinct of Kansas City Country Club Plaza hotels and a pioneer of the boutique hotel concept by emphasizing personal service and an ambiance that goes beyond the cookie cutter hotel.
