hotel roomsthe main problem in this hotel was that room build quality you can clearly hear the occupants of the next room also when people in the next room along were leaning against the walls you can see the walls moving dont get me wrong its not bad but noo good if you want a quiet night in.

Very poor - The room was not clean - especially the bathroom - certainly not worth what was chargedI use Late Rooms regularly but I'm afraid that standard of this room was very very poor. It was not clean and very noisy with the constant sound of running water pipes. (Room 224). I am seriously considering not using late rooms in future if this is the standard of the hotels they use.....

Reservation experience let them down. Booked on laterooms in the morning. Arrived at 8:30 pm to find they had no record of the reservation. Apparently it was because the booking system was down on the weekend. A bit poor considering the internet is 24 X 7. Fortunately they weren't fully booked. Room was stifling on arrival because heating had been left on. But apart from that helpful friendly staff. Room was a decent size. A nice view over the lake.

Unusual Customer Service PolicyHaving booked a standard room on line we were asked on arrival if we wished to "upgrade to" an executive room for 20 pounds per night. We decided to go for this package which included an "executive room" and unlimited access to the films and internet. On arrival to the room we were immediately disappointed; if this room was anything bigger or better than a standard room I would not like to see the standard room! There was nothing about the room to suggest that it had any extra space or facilities than a normal hotel room. It was however clean and comfortable. On the second night, after a long day we decided to take advantage of the executive package of entertainment and to stay in to watch a film. The films did not work, when contacted staff said there was a problem with the system. The shower then proceeded to drip all night keeping me awake all night. When we notified staff of these difficulties our complaint was dismissed and no refund of even one night of the executive package was offered. Had any concession at all been made when we spoke to the staff I feel that this review would be better, but all we were instructed to do by the gentleman on reception was to use this feed back email to complain... An unfortunate and unusual way to deal with complaints!

Not so goodI am not a fussy traveller and will usually put up with what ever for 1 night!!! I have stayed in many Ramadas but this was awful. The first room was dirty yellow sticky stains runnung many inched down the bath. The skirting board in the bathroom at the side of the toilet was filthy. I asked for a move for which was sorted for me exceptionally well. The second room the bath was in a similar state which I coulod hardly believe. I was there for 1 night and just put up with it. I was out all evening and didnt use the room really till 2 am. when I went to use the toilet I found it was all splached with urine it was discusting. I live in hotel rooms perhaps 8-10 nights a month and this was really the worse I have ever seen. The reception staff were very nice.

Room was a little tired but very clean. No biscuits, not enough milk and only one large towell in a room booked for two. TV confusing to use. Only enough shampoo and bath lotion for one.

As we walked through a mountain of corridors to our room everywhere looked very tired and hospitalish (as long corridors). When we opened the door to our room there was an overpowering sour smell which was coming from the bathroom. We think this was the drain from the bath. However the whole bathroom had a problem with damp as the walls had brown water marks on them. The food was very good in the restaurant however breakfast was incredibly expensive. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We did not ask to be moved as it was late when we arrived, were very tired and it was only for one night. Therefore we do not know if they could have moved us to another better room.

This hotel was really poor. Firstly I was put in the mews part despite it being snowing and no attempt to clear a path to the rooms. The room was not clean the carpet was dirty and I found somebody else's bra on the floor. No attempt to apologies when I mentioned this. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The room looked a little tired and in need of an update. Overall it was comfortable but there was the remains of the previous guest's shower gel on the shower curtain and what looked like several burn marks on the main curtain by the window. There was only one bottle of shampoo and one bottle of shower gel which seemed a bit mean for two people.

When entering the room it smelt disgustingly stale. The room also looked like a throw back from the 60's - Not up to date at all.Overall very disappointed.

the food was of poor quality. Dry and tasteless. Considering the limited number of other guests in the resteraunt it also took a long time to get each course.

This hotel is in dire need of a re-furb or alternatively demolishing and building anew. It is tired, grubby, inconvenient to get around and the staff are of mixed helpfulness. I had to change room due to the smell of damp and cigarettes - the move was done promptly and the hotel did apologise. It feels like something from the 80s and I wouldn't dream of revisiting it in its current state.

Hotel public areas were good and service in resturant exellent, but our room was below standard. The room itself could only be discribed as tatty, it needed redecorating, toilet roll holder loose, no toilet brush, mattress did not fit bed (about 8\" short at bottom, there were other faults i could mention but these were the main ones. i would stay again but it would have to be a different room. As the stay was only two nights we didn't bother to complain.

The only complaint i experienced was when i recieved my bank statement. I had been charged an additional night which should have been resolved at the reception when checking in. This took five days to sort out and i only find out about the charge when i checked my account on line

On arriving I was told that although I had requested a double bed, myself & my partner had been given a twin room. we asked for this to be changed and were then given a double room. Walking into the room the smell was overwhelming, coming from a large patch of mould in the corner of the room. the bathroom was also very dirty and the room had obviously not been cleaned. The next room we were given, although acceptable with regard to cleanliness, did not justify the £120 per night price tag.On checking out, the systems were so slow, the process took 25 minutes. However this did include the time it took to put our bill right after being charged double for the food we had consumed the night before. When I first brought this up I was met with a very poor attitude, and told that it was the way the bills were 'set out'. No apologies for the error, or the mouldy room. All in all, very dissappointing. I will certainly go out of my way to never use this chain of hotels again.
