Looking at Bath UniMy son and I stayed here. All the staff were very helpful and polite. We were given a room on the top floor, unfortunately the night we stayed, it was an extremely hot night and the room had no air conditioning. Whilst we left the sash windows wide open and the fan on full, there was no way of getting / keeping cool. I was desperate for a cold drink of water in the night, and whilst small bottles of water were left in the room, these were luke warm at best. The rest of the hotel had a comfortable feel about it and would stay again.

We stayed here for two nights prior to returning to the US from Bristol. Every room is different; we had a large room at the front facing the street - but no noises. Very attentive service: car taken away as soon as we pulled up (no charge); they knew who we were and remembered our name and room number each time we returned. Within walking distance of all the sites.Very comfortable bed in very large room (suite status), large bathroom, modern plasma TV; essentially everything you would want in a room. Several public rooms where you can sit and read newspapers or go on the internet (wireless); and behind them three small garden areas where you can sit and have a snack and drink. My wife wanted a salad but the chef was not available, so the waiter had the general manager make it.Excellent restaurant in the basement, where we had breakfast and dinner. We would definitely return and would recommend to others. Probably not the right place for young children. Not low cost, but definitely worth the cost.

A lovely hotel!A wonderful hotel in every way. We stayed in a superior double for a very good price and got a huge room with large sofa and desk and a massive and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was huge and well stocked with one thing that always gets the thumbs up from my wife and I; bathrobes and slippers! Breakfast was included in our deal and was quality and home cooked. Probably wouldn't have gone for it if not included as slightly over priced at £15 a head. Staff were very helpful and a really nice touch to offer a bag with towels and bathrobes to take to the Thermae Spa, free of charge. Well appointed for the town centre & spa (5 mins walk) and train station (10 mins walk). There really isn't anything to fault from our experience, we would definitely go back

Room was good but bathroom was very disappointing - small bath and very low ceiling so the showerhead was at shoulder height (room 23)

A lovely hotelWe really loved our visit to The Queensberry! The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, even providing local knowledge for a treasure hunt we'd done that afternoon around Bath. Our room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The building has bags of character including some very quirky staircases. The breakfast was delicious - cooked and continental. Our only minor niggle was a lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room, though they were available from room service. It is also mostly up-hill from the train-station, a taxi would be essential if you had more than a light bag.

Front of house very efficient. Valet parking is also provided - a must in Bath! Public areas are visually stunning and provide comfortable space to relax. A room upgrade was a very pleasant surprise. Very comfortable bed and designer decor -immaculate! Expensive breakfasts, so better to go down the road for this. The hotel is very central (5 minutes from key sights and shopping) but quiet. Would definitely return for a special occasion.

Fantastic hotel, excellent position, staff were so friendly and professional it went some way to easing the pain of paying so much for a bed. We ate in the Olive Tree restaurant attached and it was really very good, worthy of its claims. Whilst expensive we must say that the service, willingness of the staff to please without being overbearing was so good. If you've got the cash to spend then this is a good place to do it.

This is a trult wonderful hotel. The staff are extremely attentive, and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are all well presented and equipped - they have all modern amenities whilst retaining the georgian townhouse feel. The only gripe I have is that there is no complimentary tea or coffee in your room, though I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem if you asked! The restaurant is renowned for its food - q bit pricey, but worth every penny. I have stayed here several times on business, but plan to return to enjoy it at my leisure!

Lovely, clean, modern room. Great location. Only minor comment is some tea and coffee making facilities would be appreciated!

An absolute definite for a weekend or a mid week stay. Centrally located in a beautiful georgian house which has been modernised with a boutiquey feel. We travelled with a 1 year old and the staff could not have been more helpful. Thoughtful customer service, valet parking and excellent modern British food.

Enjoyed one night at this very convenient city centre hotel. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The valet parking was a definite plus for a hotel in the very heart of the city.

The staff were very helpfull and we had a free room upgrade and champagne in the room because it was our anniversary. The location was excellent with only a short walk into town. The only downside was the meal in the restaurant.Considering it was so expensive it was not that special.I would recommend the hotel but would advise people to eat elsewhere.
