good value, very comfortable

Clean, attractive decor, flat screen TV, micro/refrig, free Internet wired. Nothing. I will stay again the next time I need a hotel in that area. I was very pleasantly surprised with the rooms.

Nice comfortable motel located just South of the Portsmouth traffic circle. Easy to get to. I had a room with 2 double beds. Rooms were small, but well laid out. Bathroom was excellent with toiletries provided. Everything was exceptionally clean. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Continental breakfast provided along with good coffee available 24/7. Slight noise from US 1 Bypass South, but not enough to bother sleep. Moderate prices - good buy. Would certainly stay there again.

I had a large, surprisingly quiet room with a good-sized kitchen and many windows that opened. Free internet, a work desk and a breakfast table. Good reading lights. Everything was spotless. The staff cheerful and efficient. There was a very comfortable chair in front of every room. And the New Hampshire State Liquor store was only a hundred yards away!

Friendly staff and easy to get to from highway. The staff was outgoing and friendly. When we arrived they gave us one room with the ice machine right outside the door, when we asked for another room they did so immediately or suggested unplugging the machine at night. We would stay there again.

Privately run. Right off the Portsmouth Circle. Great thought in the layout of the room. Extra outlets where needed, not hidden behind heavy funiture. Shoppers' 2-day pkg an find extra. Continental breakfast available. Very friendly front desk staff. Ironging board, iron, hair dryer in roon. Comfortable beds. Would most definitely stay here again. Great value. Have stayed in many places over the years. Cannot say enough good things about The Port Inn.

Clean, friendly and great location. On the outside this hotel does not look super appealing but looks are deceiving! Once inside this hotel is very clean and comfortable. The 32 inch flat screen TV was a definite bonus! The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast with fresh fruit, eye opening coffee and many bread choices was one of the best I've ever seen.

We found this hotel to be one of the finest we've stayed in. Professionally decorated and very clean. The price was right and staff very friendly and helpful.

I was in Durham, N.H. from Boston for a 2-day conference. I chose to stay overnight in Portsmouth. Outwardly the Inn appears average, so I expected an average room. Surprisingly the room was awesome! The bed - plush and comfortable. The bathroom clean, stocked, and had a quaint Eurpoean feel, to include French doors. I was able to watch the flat screen TV from anywhere in the room. The Inn was located close to major highways. The Continental breakfast bar was clean, cheerful and food plentiful. I would have enjoyed a longer stay. The staff was great.

Hotel location, continental breakfast and staff were ideal. New cable TV system was a real problem until the staff showed me how to use it. This is a conveniently located hotel that is ideal for business travelers. It is well maintained and the staff is friendly and responsive. The only drawback is that there is not a restaurant on site or within walking distance however the room did come with a microwave and refrigerator.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Spotless room. Best bed I've experienced in a hotel. Great location. Very fair price.

Charming room, if a bit small. Coffee all day/night, and lovely continental breakfast. Room was a bit small, but we requested that to be on first floor due to an older companion. Very charming Inn with great staff, quaint rooms with lovely bed linens and bath. Would absolutely recommend!

Very friendly staff. We were in Portsmouth for a wedding and didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but when we were there it was very nice. Nice furnishings, comfy beds. Didn't get to see the pool or fitness room.

Extremely friendly staff, reasonably priced, well-appointed rooms. NA. That was a very convenient, efficient place to stay. The staff was knowledgeable and the location is ideal for driving into town, the outlets in Maine, or the beach. While the rooms were very nice But nice pool, clean, efficient, and moderately priced.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, and room service good. The complimentary breakfast was good, but the area for eating is small.

It was very clean and the staff was helpful. The accessibility was somewhat difficult. We found this hotel to be comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff was efficient and friendly. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

The Port Inn was very comfortable, in a good location; the staff was very accommodating and explained where restaurants, etc., were, in the area. They had a complimentary continental breakfast which was great. The room was roomy and comfortable.
Date of Stay:

It was a tiny room but for a night or two it was fine. The location and amenities were great. The heated pool and pool area were very a very nice feature you can't normally get in the Portsmouth area. Definetely would stay there again and would highly recommend.
