The rooms were very clean, the location is the best in Athens (walking distance to so many sites, shopping, food, plaka (great night life) and the subway. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Plaka Hotel is in a fantastic location close to the main archealogical sights and the city shopping. The rooms were large enough for the rating and clean with all facilities working (the same can't be said for some other Athens hotels in this rating). The roof top garden/bar possibly has the best view of the Acropolis and central city around.

They only problem with this hotel was the noise at night. The location is great for the sights and access to public transportation but is on a very noisy strip of town. The cars and motorcycles woke us up throughout the night. It was very clean and comfortable. Except for the noise, we loved our stay here.

The Plaka Hotel has the best location in Athens because of its proximity to the Plaka and its spectacular views of the Acropolis. The staff was helpful and there is a breakfast buffet. Although they claim to have been recently renovated, the air conditioning did not work well in either of two rooms we stayed in.

We liked the hotel as it was a good location in busy Plaka area, with a rooftop bar with perfect views of the Acropolis. But, bathroom was very small...

Excellent location within easy walking distance of the major tourist attractions. It is also close (aprox 5 to 10 minute walk) to the airport bus stop.Super view from roof terrace. Modern, clean comfortable rooms though bathrooms very small, but adequate. Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel as we had one at the front and it was very noisy at night. Breakfast plentiful if a little uninspired. Would definitely stay there again.
