Excellent choice, stayed here many times and on every occasion i have been overwhelmed with the customer service (a rarity these days) excellent accommodation with full and working facilities! And enough room to stretch your legs which isn't found in your average hotel under £100.

ExcellentI stayed here at the last minute and was very impressed it was very conveinent to town and all restaurants and bars. The shopping centres were only 5 mins away. The accomodation was really big and it was worth the stay.If any bad comment at all the bed was really hard - but I am sure that if I had mentioned it I am sure they would have tried to solve it.

We were delighted with the situation (proximity to Manchester Picadilly station). On arrival we were upgraded to a very large apartment and were impressed with the excellent facilities. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we will definitely stay here again. Our only slight niggle was the warmth of the apartment but it was extremely cold weather and we understand they were experiencing problems with burst pipes, etc. An excellent place to stay and enjoy Manchester.

not greatalthough the apartment itself was a great size and layout the light switches and door handles were sticky, the dishwasher was full and the cutlery drawer could have done with a good clean.bathroom bins were very low quality, you nput your foot on the pedal and it just falls over.was a big transvestite event going on that weekend just think it had been cleaned in a hurry and not thoroughly.

Graduation weekendVery comfortable, lots of space, friendly staff. Good soundproofing given the number of hen night guests staying on the Saturday night. Service at breakfast could have been slicker. Overall an enjoyable stay and I would use the hotel again.

the rooms were really hot although the staff did provide us with some fans and a bucket of ice for our drinks which was great

Great place to stay with easy parking at a reasonable price. Only small complaint was not enough light in apartments especially in bedrooms near mirrors and plug sockets weren't too well placed for hairdryers and mirrors!

A bit priceyI stayed here with 3 of my friends for the amount we paid the service we received wasn't good. This was down to the fact that when we were out around Manchester myself and friends got split up and when myself and another friend tried to get back in showing our room key and what the apartment number was they told me "sorry but your apartment is full everyone has been ticked off" in the end they said they would escourt me up with the manager and a security guard when i got to my room they didn't even apologise when there was 1 of my friends in there and me and another friend plus car parking an extra £9 and no flat screen T.V for that price?

The only place i'd stay in ManchesterThis hotel is not called 'The place' for nothing. It is truly the only place I plan on staying on any visit I make to Manchester. I've now stayed there twice in the last year and both times was completely impressed by the all round service and standards. The rooms are quirky and comfy - Everything to make you feel like your living in your own bijou apartment in Manchester. All the home comforts within a fantastic setting. In terms of value for money then I'd challenge you to find somewhere better. All of the above combined with the ideal location makes it the perfect place. You can choose to include breakfast which on my first trip was selected. The food was very good, continental style and presented in a lovely dining area. I can imagine this would be an ideal place for any age group and whether business or pleasure. I will be delighted to recommend to anyone.

Our StayThe Place is actually a fantastic place to stay!! From the minute you walk through the door it truly is unique. From the receptionist to your room the whole experience is simply great fun and exciting.Whether you are staying there to go out in to Manchester or having a weekend away, it is great. The apartements to do get quite warm though, air conditioning could be considered for the some of the apartments. Overall though, I cannot complain. Also, the communication that I had directly from the The Place prior to us arriving was extremely efficient and helpful.

Lumpy BedsWe had a good stay, but where only in the hotel room for a maximun of 8 hours. If i had one complaint it would be that the bed was the lumpiest thing i have ever slept on. It felt like a matress stuffed with stones, i managed to stay put for about 3 hours of interupted sleep and gave up and ended up on the sofa in the front room, which was a little more comfortable but not long enough.

good apartmentthe room was excellent. very spacious. the bedrooms have blackout curtains which made the room nice and dark. our two bedroom apartment had an en suite and a seperate bathroom so if there are two couples staying its ideal as you are not waiting around to take a shower. the only little thing is the tv is really old and our particular on just kept switching itself off but other than that everything else was top quality. its a stone throw from the city centre so you can just walk right into the centre.

Great weekend in ManchesterVery friendly helpful staff. We upgraded to a penthouse apartment which had great city views and space. Only one small dissapointment, no furniture on the balcony to sit and relax and enjoy the view.

Excellent - Best hotel i've ever stayed in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11Apartment was brilliantly located! It felt like we were abroad with the palm trees and communal area. Apartment was huge, there were 4 of us but could have accomodated more!Car Parking was reasonable and easy, Rooms were clean, kitchen facilities were really good, included toiletries and ironing facilities in the rooms. Overall a brilliant experience!Brakfast was a buffet so you could eat as much or as little as you want!!Perfect, I'm not booking anywere else ever again!!

good location, lots of space, good valueWe were in Manchester 4 days to look for a rental house for our daughter going to graduate school there in September. The Place turned out to be a good choice. Very clean and lots of room and reasonably convenient to places we were looking at.
