Excellent choice, stayed here many times and on every occasion i have been overwhelmed with the customer service (a rarity these days) excellent accommodation with full and working facilities! And enough room to stretch your legs which isn't found in your average hotel under £100.

The food/food service was dreadful, starters didn't arrive, after waiting 40minutes, plastic paper within the main course, when ordered alternative main course chef was not on site so could only get sandwiches.

Hotel was great, but we were offered upgrade and took an extra room. We were offered a rate including breakfast, but the morning staff refused us it and wanted a extra £100 for our groups breakfast. very disappointing as I had arranged this room for a group on a hen party who were very hungry in the morning!!

Conveniently located close to Manchester Picadilly Station. Funky and Fabulous. Great Buffet style breakfast. Lovely views out over Manchester city at night from a New York Style Loft apartment. Thoroughly recommend it. It suited our needs as family very well.

Great place but my room had very basic furniture. Not quite what you expect for that sort of rack rate

Loved this apartment hotel. It made life really easy for us because of all the facilities in the apartment and it was in an excellent location. The building itself was beautiful which made it all the better. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again.

The Hotel and food were first class in all respects. The Hotel was quite difficult to find - not helped by road works obviously of a temporary nature and beyond the Hotels control - however better directions would undoubtedly assist although on contacting the Hotel direct on our way to finding the hotel the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and successfully 'talked us in'.

Very easy to get to and excellent location. Didn't try the food as very pricey breakfast (£13) considering you can cook your own in your apartment and also tons of good places nearby to eat. Very close to station and to a Tesco Metro. Helpful staff on Reception, clean rooms, good condition throughout and nice atrium layout of rooms around the outside. VEry family friendly and didn't see any drunks stumbling about. Safe area so you don't feel worried walking around late at night or very early morning.

I recently stayed in a 'superior' double room at The Place Hotel. The room was a disappointment, cramped and uncomfortable. The fittings were cheap, the bathroom was large but had a dirty feel to it with plenty of cracked tiles and poorly finished. Despite being a Monday night when the hotel was obviously quiet we were put in a room overlooking the building site next door where work started at 7.45 am. The only plus point of the stay was the breakfast, but by then I was more than ready to leave and I won't be back.

The room was fantastic and the reception staff helpful although they gave us incorrect information about the local area on two occassions, the location of the hotel was superb. The breakfast was very poor and lets the hotel down. The food was cold and the bread hard, tea cold etc, great shame for a nice place but saying that nice to stay at the hotel and go somewhere else for breakfast!

We stayed here as we thought it would be an excellent alternative to the usual Hotel stay, however at least when I have stayed in a hotel I have been confident that the room would be clean, the bedding would not be stained and have some kind of sticky substance on it and that when we complained and requested new sheets before going to bed that we would not be accused of doing it ourselves! For the cost of the room it really was not acceptable and I will not be recommending it to any of my friends nor will I ever stay here again.

Have stayed in this hotel previously and was very impressed with the quality of the rooms but unimpressed with staff. This time however the customer service was excellent and staff very efficient, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be using the hotel again.

When we first got to the hotel they told me that there was no booking in my name. aftr a panic and time to find out what had happened, we found that the booking was made in the name harry NOT parry. laterooms had told them that my name was harry. this could of ended up in distaster.

The rooms were spacious, clean, airy. The Place is also located in the city centre and it was a breeze to do everything from there. I enjoyed the stay thoroughly, and I would definitely come back there.
