Accomodation with poor natural lighting and no view & Same Breakfast MenuThe Twin Bedroom was dark with a tiny window, which we avoided as much as possible. The Bathroom was not ensuite and was difficult to access at night due to the necessity of using two sets of stairs. The Breakfast was exactly the same three consecutive mornings- it was surprising that the chef could be be so unimaginative!

we booked this hotel as it looked very nice on there website for a 1 night stay we have never done a review for a hotel before but felt so let down by this place this is the first! we arrived to be told they had no disabled parking spaces and we would have to park in the main car park which was a 5 min walk up hill across gravel and woodlands..although some staff cars were parked right outside the hotels main reception! our club/executive room was actually a converted stable at the rear of the manor house shown on there website! the rooms was not very clean with thick dust and cobwebs on the light fittings etc and the shower was growing with grunge around the shower door and tiles and the shower heads were gross! we arrived late and called reception when we realized it was getting cold to ask for another blanket..it was a answer matching as the close it at 9pm!!, we could leave a message they would respond to in the morning which would have been a tad late! i have no idea what you would do in the event of a medical emergency other than call 999 breakfast was in the nice manor house but we got soaked in the rain getting there from our "stable" room..breakfast was fun! everything apart from the toast and tea was all cooked in one go and left on the hotplates..luckily we got in at 8am..but the people coming in later would have had old left out food, no black pudding, no fried eggs, no beans and no sauces we saw a waiter once as we arrived for breakfast and never saw one again..once we were leaving the dining room the waiter was in the lounge sitting in front of the fire place! i was given a coffee cup with a huge chip missing from the drinking side..which i swapped with another tables one to sum up..nice house..shame the rooms are in converted stables, very poor staffing, felt we were just dumped in our room and left on our own stayed in much nicer places for the money and would not go back again

Interesting building in beautiful, tranquil setting. Excellent breakfast- great choice. Staff outstandingly helpful and friendly. Colour schemes tateful but bedroom had some issues. One bed was sloping at an angle of 25 degrees! Would have appreciated some instructions on operating the shower. As it was one of the pipes/tubes was leaking. Dressing table was inaccessible, bedside table was much too big and there was only one small stool - no chair. Nevertheless the location was very convenient - near Park & Ride. We enjoyed our breakfast and the historical setting was enriching.

The customer service was not of a high strandard - as the staff talked to me as if i was their friend - very unprofessional. the restuarant was closed as there was a wedding on - v.disappointing. the rooms were not cleaned properly after each night.

Park resort hotel, WickStayed last weekend, absolutely stunning location, beautiful gardens, fabulous buildings and apparently a popular golfing hotel. There is clearly buiding work currently being undertaken on site, but this is very discreet and in no way whatsoever detracts from this glorious venue. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and nothing was too much to ask. Rooms are of a high standard and well priced. Just a short taxi ride from Bath, this is a perfect place to stay for a quiet getaway, whilst being close enough to the city for shopping or evenings out. I would definitely stay at Park Resort again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Perfect for morning meetings in BristolI live North of London, and it typically takes 3+ hours to drive to Bristol, so I like to travel the evening before. The hotel is well positioned close to the M4 and about 20 minutes into North Bristol. Room was big and well equiped. A few issues with the plumbing made the shower an interesting experience. Free WiFi was nice, but the signal was very low in the room I had. Food in the restaurant was exceptionally good.

A wonderful weekend in a beautiful hotelWe had a fantastic weekend in Bath and secured a really good deal via Late Rooms. We were delighted with the room and were even lucky enough to be given a room upgrade. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds surrounded by two golf courses. The hotel staff could not have been more polite, professional and attentive and were friendly and welcoming too. We were staying in a Superior Room (Room 7) which appeared to be a converted stable. It was well furnished, clean, modern and extremely comfortable. We didn't want to come home at the end of our stay. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was delicious. There were lots of special touches throughout our stay from complimentary hot cross buns in the room to the hors d'ouevres provided in the library while we selected our choices from the dinner menu. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other couples!

30th Birthday celebrationI booked 'The Park' for a group of seven to celebrate my birthday. We all had a brilliant and memorable time. I love the way the rooms are organised, as it feels like a community rather than the impersonal corridors of a standard hotel. We also had fun comparing our rooms, as they're all so individual. The facilities in the rooms are excellent, particularly the shower! We booked the 3-course dinner, bed and breakfast package, which is very good value for money! Our evening meal was delicious, and the dining room is relaxed and intimate. The staff were very attentive throughout the meal, but not at all intrusive. The breakfast was also very good.Overall, we had lovely time and I highly recommend staying at 'The Park'.

Our Gallery standard room was interesting and exceeded our expectations.Building works in progress but didnot detract our enjoyment. The Oaks Dining room was full of character and evening meallived up to its 2 Rosette status. However breakfast somewhat of a disappointment as some precooked items eg, mushrooms, sausagelukewarm at best and nice freshly cooked eggs cooled quickly on cold plates!Never mind we would certainly like to return again.

A beautiful hotel located in a lovely part of the country. The hotel surroundings were exceptional and our accommodation was very well presented.Staff were very polite and helpful, making us feel very welcome. Our room was cold to start with but hotel staff placed a electric heater in our room straight away.Would definitely recommended this hotel to couples looking to get away for the weekend or play a round of golf.

A lovely historic hotel. The rooms are in cottages in the courtyard and very private and luxurious. The sign posting from the car park could be improved, other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
