The restaurant at breakfast was very unorganised, there were no tables set for at least 4 sets of residents including ourselves.

Hotel fine, but Late Rooms tele Sales person would put me off booking through you again. Lengthof timr to make him understand simple spellings resulted in frustration on our part , me being called Miss Bren instead of Mrs Brenda Spence and my husband being down as Norma!

We stayed here for one night and had a very pleasant stay. Arriving about 10 o'clock we were checked in within minutes and while the room may have been slightly dated in its decor, it was a reasonable size and perfect for our needs. We ended up spending the rest of the evening in the lounge enjoying a drink in front of a real log fire. The breakfast in the morning was very good. A freshly cooked full English breakfast, and it was a pleasant surprise that when I asked for a vegetarian cooked breakfast they replaced the sausages and bacon with non-meat alternatives such as fried bread. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here on business, a good alternative to impersonal chains.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night, whilst on business. Our double room was dingy, the curtains where hanging off the track and did not close properly, there was a very large settlement crack in the room, the bathroom wall had a lot of damp/mould on it and the door to the room did not lock properly. As we didn't spend any time in the room before we retired for bed, I mentioned these complaints to the owner the following morning. He seemed bewildered by my observations and failed to respond in any way!

Even though the menu was limited for vegetarians, the chef went out of his way to do something for me, which makes a real refreshing change. It would be interesting to see how this service happens during busy periods though. The rooms were comfortable, with a good sized and clean bathroom, although the bed was very hard. Parking is very limited as you have to park on the street, but Frodsham is a quiet place and your car should be safe enough. Overall a very nice and friendly hotel. The price was a little high for what you got, seeing as you could get the same standard of room in a Travel Lodge or simial for £25 a night cheaper. However, you do get a bar and room service., saving that labourious search for somewhere to eat when you arrive.
