The Oaklands Hotel is situated on the suburbs of Norwich, just 10 minutes drive from the city centre and train station. Also close to the Norfolk Broads, Broadland and Thorpe Business Parks. Public transport is available from a bus stop at the bottom of the drive going to the city centre, train and bus stations and run on a very regular basis. The airport is approx 5 miles from the Oaklands Hotel, it is approximately 20 minutes taxi journey.

The hotel has 36 bedrooms in the main hotel over two floors. Oaklands Hotel offers 12 lodges half are on the ground floor and half on the first floor. All of the lodges have an en-suite double bedroom with double bed and a separate lounge with double sofa bed and kitchenette area. Ground floor rooms have a terrace area outside and first floor lodges all have balconies. The lodges also have plasma TV, DVD player, digital TV, tea/coffee making facilities and chiller units.

The Oaklands Hotel is a country house style hotel with a very popular carvery and a la carte restaurant, lounge bars and event rooms. The Hotel also has 12 Luxury Lodges onsite offering a more modern and spacious style of accommodation.
