3 Nights at the New Inn, Stratford upon AvonThis hotel is in a village outside town, and apart from the hotel, one public phone booth, and private houses, there is nothing else. A car is essential as buses are infrequent. The hotel provided meals for bus loads of "tourists" and at those times service to residents was clearly affected. The room was reasonably clean but bedding eg quilt cover obviously not washed. Ugh!Breakfast was so dull that I gave it a miss after the first morning. One comment overheard from another resident - "everywhere else was booked up so we came here".

Very nice hotel. Room was clean and had everything required for a short stay. The breakfast was ample and service very good. The only negative would be that the system to gain entry to the rooms was a little complicated, especially after a night out! This however is not a complaint and it would at least have ensured a peaceful nights sleep had i been staying alone as i would know that it was not easy for intruders to enter the area where our room was.

We found the Hotel easily, but the room was very cold and the heating was only on for a very short while, i did not sleep well due to the coldness of the roomThe food was good and most fo the staff were pleasant

The bar was nice quaint pub with open fire and friendly staff. But the bedroom was very small with the bed taking about half the bedroom. Avoid rooms near entrance as the door at top of stairs very noisy. the evening meal was not too good , the carvery looked good but not available the nights we stayed.

Nice "family run" feel about the hotel which is in a very good location and easy to find. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.Food was excellent and cooked to order so you need to be prepared to wait a little while after ordering at busy periods. Many locals use the restaurant which help to prove the quality of the food, there was a superb buffet choice at weekends as well.Room was clean and comfortable with a lovely en-suite bathroom, the only thing we felt that would improve it was a comfy chair as there was only the bed or dressing table stool to sit on.Overall we enjoyed our stay and we will return again to explore the surrounding area more, hotel is in a good location for site seeing and walking.

A lovely hotel secluded from the noise of the city yet within a short drive to the attraction. Or for those brave or crazy enough a 20minute stroll will take you into the city centre! Staff are friendly and very helpful indeed. The full English breakfast was brilliant. Eggs cooked to perfection. Shower flow was efficient and invigorating. Hair dryers in rooms will be helpful for those who forgets to take them. We expereinced a power cut when we were there but that only added to the enjoyment of the stay. Ambience was perfect for our needs. Thank you all at The New Inn for making our stay so comfortable.

Rooms small but very clean. Lots of notices telling us what to do! Quiet though with comfortable bed. Although we had no children with us, children appeared welcome. Restaurant not very attractive but dinner was excellent. Close to Stratford

Quality of food was excellent with very friendly staff. Beautiful location, 10 minute bus ride from Hotel to Stratford Town Centre. The room was very comfortable and kept very clean - as was the rest of the hotel. We would certainly stay again plus highly recommend it to friends and family. No complaints at all!!

Initially we were fairly happy with the staff and accomodation although following breakfast we asked if we could have another cup of tea whilst we were sat in the bar area with the other couple we had gone away with but we were informed that as we had had one with our breakfast we could not have another one as they were too busy! There was only one other table of 4 having breakfast at the time and we were willing to pay for the extra tea. Unfortunatly following this incident we felt really un happy with the srevice they had provided to paying guests and therfore would not return to that hotel in the future
