not a place of comforts, though well located.Rooms are tiny and internet is very expensive, but does not cost to much.

The Mosser is just around the corner from the BART. The surrounding area is colorful but never felt unsafe. The room I stayed in without the bathroom was indeed very small, but we decided that we wouldn't be there that much anyway, just for sleeping. There was no a/c so slept with windows open and it does it get a bit noisy at night, but not too bad. I would definitely stay there again. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

It is convenient. The size of the room. It is a nice hotel but reather small for the price I paid and the cleaning staff was very noisy.

Pros: The room was very very tiny but just fine if the purpose of your trip is to see the city and not to hang out at the hotel. Room very clean and pleasant. My room had private bathroom that was amazingly clean. I don't know how the shared bathrooms were. Great location right in the downtown shopping area and 2 mins away from the bart-muni system. Cons: noisy, you can hear next room, room on top, hallway... I heard the whole 30 mins conversation on the phone from the guy next door. People did not seem too educate in that sense. Terrible electronic key system and bad maintenance system. I was there for 6 nights and had to get 7 different copies of the magnetic key. I would have to try on average 10 times until it would work every time I had to open the room. I repeatedly reported the problem and all the told me is: you may not be using the key properly. Ridiculous! I have been in countless hotels with electronic keys. They agreed that the new system was giving them a hard time but never sent anyone up to check if there was anything wrong with it.

What a great location! The shared baths weren't nearly as unpleasant as you would expect shared baths to be, and the room, while exceptionally small, was well appointed and comfortable. The whole place was stunningly clean, seriously spotless. The neighborhood is as convenient as any in town, you can ride BART from the airport terminal practically to the front door of the hotel.

The rooms are small, but this hotel has great service, and the location was perfect for me since my conference was right across the street. The room was very clean, and I was never disturbed by other guests.

corner room upgrade with private bath was nice- but noisy- there is a motorcycle parking on this side and apparently motorcycles need a lot of warming up? or something- motors running at different intervals is annoying. Otherwise- everything else was okay. The restaurant next door Annabelles I think- had a coupon for free dessert with dinner- we went and even though the food was terrific- visit was marred by a very inattentive waiter, who- upon hearing our displeasure- served the dessert menu to us with a bit of disgust. Location was superb however.

Very much what you would expect from the front desk inhabited by San Franciscans: snobby, arrogant and condescending. The room was great and the location was ideal, but again much was left to be desired in regards to the front desk staff.

Old European charm with todays modern amenities! Parking is $30 and lot is mile away from hotel. This hotel was like finding a diamond in the rough. Great location, walking distance to union square and great shopping. Close proximity to Giants Stadium, either a short walk or a quick munitrain ride. Staff was excellent and helpful.

Really great location. Walking distance to Union Square and the shopping areas. Literally half a block to the Visitor's Centre, Cable Car Stop, F Line Muni (to get to Ferry Terminals, Fisherman's Wharf etc) and heaps of bus services to go everywhere else. Do the Victorian Home Walk ($20, gets you out into some great neighbourhoods to check out the cool, colourful Victorian houses). Actual rooms are quite small, fans only - no air con, no exhaust fan in the bathroom so quite steamy, no tea/coffee in rooms or bar fridges. Complimentary coffee and muffins in the hotel (but don't get too excited).
