Hotel was good in spots. Bedrooms were a little distressed and very dark. My beloved complained that room was too dark. Some silly things like putting the toilet bowl on the same side as the sink meant that you had to kneel on the porcelein in order to wash your face. Lead for kettle was too short meaning that there was steam damage to the furniture. Breakfast was good. All in all I have stayed in better places cheaper.

The Morrison was beyond our expectations. We traveled with our 8 month old daughter and they were very accommodating. We all slept better than we have in months in their comfortable bed. The staff went beyond their call of duty on several circumstances. The food was great and the atmosphere of the bar and restaurant was so much fun (although not appropriate for small children) Overall, the hotel was above our expectations.

Really enjoyed the stay with my fiance for one night - thought the location was great fro the temple bar area... the room was very spacious and modern... a pricey hotel with expensive cocktails but worth the visit... thought the bar area didnt look as clean and tidy in the daylight! Also for the price i paid £170 for the night - i would have expected a bathroom with a bath and a shower!

Lovely hotel, the staff were friendly and they couldn't do enough to help you. The food although expensive was fantastic. The hotel bar is funky but not too busy which was great. Lighting is a bit too ambient so much so you can't see what your wearing or put your make up on but I could live with that as the room was massive and facitiies great.

This has to be the coldest hotel I have ever stayed in and it was 10.30pm before we got to another warmer room. The 2nd room had the interconnecting door to another room and its occupants left open which was a shock to my sense of security. This was quickly rectified once reported. Breakfast was included in the overall cost but was still added to my bill and I was asked to sign for it in the dinningroom. The first room also smelled of smoking even though I has requested non-smoking. Service in the bar is slow and inefficient. On the whole, I was very very disappointed. Your money maybe but to better use elsewhere in Dublin.

Fantastic staff at the Morrison, poliet and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention to Jarloth who organised cinema tickets for us and train times, he was a star. Decor of this hotel is the selling point for most but my opinion differs, I found the twin room quite small and dark, and defidnately think the location and the staff are the selling point.

Very good hotel, expensive but worth the money for the location and the size, decoration of the room. Staff were very friendly and courteous. No nightclub at this hotel as states in the blurb, restaurant was beautiful, food very fancy! Couple of problems occured, they put a bottle of spirits on our bill by mistake , so check your bill, also they put breakfast on our bill which was included in the rate.

Easy to get to although unloading luggage is a problem, as there are no dedicated parking bays.Limited number of clothes drawers in the room.Room mini-bar rather on the warm side -- needs to be colder.Central plug in the large bath is very easy to knock or pull out.

Excellent hotel in a great location, ideal place for a weekend break. Not the cheapest hotel in Dublin, but then again the facilities are very plush and I've paid more for less elsewhere. Everything is top quality. If staying Saturday and leaving on Sunday take advantage of the 'Lazy Sunday' offer and extend the Sunday check-out until 8pm. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Morrison hotel 31st March 2007 with my sister and some friends. I have stayed many times there and always return beacuse of the great location, cool decor and very friendly service. From the moment you arrive you are greeted warmly - offered tea/coffee if room is not ready and staff in general are wonderful. Jane and Mary at reception are excellent and efficient and very welcoming. Sol in the restaurant is an excellent manager who keeps the service flowing and seems to be ubiquitous without being overbearing. You never have to ask for anything when Sol is there as he sees what's missing before you do, and such enthusiasm!I love the cool modern John Rocha decor and flickering tea lights; great hotel bar to return to after a night out in Dublin.Service is maintained right until you leave. Where else would you get offered a cup of tea/coffee when checking out also - for the journey!!Recommend it highly. Book a suite with a river view for pure decadence! Hair straighteners included in room!!!Definitely worth a visit.

They could do with some brighter lights in the hallways to the rooms! Otherwise all well.
