Excellent location, nice bar and breakfast. Very noisy if street facing. This hotel is definitely overpriced as the TempleBar is next door and cheaper and just as nice.

In need of some TLCHave sytayed at this hotel quite a few times in the past with mixed feelings. This stay has convinced nme its time to "move on"! Its looking very much in need of some attention. Position during the day is excellent, but at night its very noisy even if on the back of the hotel. No air con in the rooms is poor. Can do much better in Dublin for the same or less money.

Be clear from the very start that the Morgan is in Temple Bar, which is busy and loud, but the heart of Dublins social life. The Morgan is a very stylish hotel and we loved staying there. Our room (115) was spacious and the bathroom adequate. The reception staff were very helpful, my only small complaint was that the restaurant/bar waiters/waitresses gave off an air of I am too busy! However the food, both for breakfast and the lunch we had, were delicious and made up for the "busy" staff.

Hotel was in prime Temple Bar area next to the hardrock. Small (only about 100 rooms). Rooms were very modern, well maintained, and very clean. Staff was courteous and proactive. Conference facilities were modern and had all amenities necessary for successful meeting.

Would thoroughly recommend the Morgan Hotel. The hotel itself is quirky and modern and furnished to a very high standard. There were plenty of luxury extras-fluffly robe, mini bar, slippers etc. The location is excellent, right in the centre of things and no need for taxis. Staff were really friendly. We asked about parking and the Receptionist offered us a voucher which gave us free parking overnight. I would definately recommend the hotel, and particularly nice for couples or anyone who likes a bit of glamour at a reasonable price!

Fabulous location, great style, and polite staff. OK for value for money but breakfast was hardly special. All that said, this is a cool place to stay and drink; champagne cocktails are worth a try. A walk along Temple Bar will bring you plentiful music, alcohol and fun! Only downside of the hotel; needs a refresh. Cracks in the floor tiles, rusty plug hole and "black mould" marks on the bath sealent were a disappointment. So close to great. That last 5% is just so hard to deliver.

Fab hotel in the heart of the night lifeOur stay at the Morgan was over Easter and it was very enjoyable. As the hotel is on Fleet Street (which joins Temple Bar), you find you are in the busiest part of town. Obviously there is some noise from the street below but this is a very small price to pay when you stay in the centre. From when we walked through the door on arrival to when we left the hotel the staff were 100% friendly and helpful. As we were about to leave we were given afternoon tea (on the house), a wonderful gesture. The room was very clean and extremely presentable with a wide screen TV, mini bar and white linen bedding. The full English breakfast was excellent and as it was buffet service you were truly set up for the day. The only slight issue was that the crockery and glasses kept running out and the overseas staff only worked at one pace....slow, although luckily the duty manager came to the rescue and resolved any issues...needless to say things soon started to happen!!We would have no hesitation to recommend the hotel and would stay there again should we visit Dublin.

Lovely hotel and great location!

Customer service severely lacking, heating in room broken, old and tired furniture, reception staff cold and unfriendly, as little as possible coffee tea facilities, double bed instead of twins booked, I could go on and on. I was so disapointed with the customer service not one person smiled or seemed to care if you were there or not. Deffinately not value for money.

Friendly, professional staff were the icing on the cake at the Morgan. Stylish deco makes a statement in the rooms and public areas. Meeting room facilities were good and well equiped for the purpose. I was dissappointed with the lunch brought to the conference room but put that down to person ordering it rather than the one fulfilling the order. Possibly best ask for some variety if you order sandwiches so that you don't end up with all white sandwiches that will put any central Europeans off their lunch.Great central location for both business and leisure. I truly recommend a stay at the Morgan.

This hotel retains it's character and is in a great location. I found the staff this time to be less welcoming and distant. The decor however, while being very attractive, has lost it's edge and really needs sprucing up. Losing it's value.

The bed was very hard! I got no sleep because of this and I couldn't turn the air conditioning off. Apart from that, the room was lovely.

The only bad side to this hotel was the bit of noise at night due to location - other than this we had a fantasic time and we be returning.

Hotel room very noisy owing to location directly above bar where disco was in progress. However, staff were more than happy to move us to a quieter room without any fuss. Apart from this, we were very impressed with the standard of hotel and the friendliness of the staff.

At nearly EUR200 per night, I was disappointed that the bed in our 'executive suite' comprised of 2 single beds pushed together, with little effort made to conceal as such. The service at breakfast was far from ideal, we were asked to sit a dirty table and had to wait 10 minutes until it was cleared by a different member of staff to the one that seated us. Having said that, the hotel is visiually stunning, very cool and the bar is second to none. Unfortunately, it's the little, bad things, that tend to stick in the memory.

Location was fantastic. Really suited what we wanted. Right in the middle of Temple bar. Busy with young party seeking people not suited to families at all. Breakfast was extremely poor, self service buffet, both mornings no food left at 9.30 am and breakfast was on til 11am had to find someone to ask for food, crockery, cutlery and a cup of tea, though all was delivered very promptly once a member of staff could be found to ask them. Would definately go back was a very modern hotel, though does require a bit of a facelift.

the hotel is in a great location. the room i stayed in was large and comfortable .the room was at the front of the hotel, unfortunatey this meant it was very noisy until the early hours [noise from the bars in the street ] so ear plugs were essential. My complaint is the furniture in the room which looked dirty and scruffy[sofa, chairs and table] it wouldn't take alot of time ,money or effort to rectify. Also I wasn't pleased about being woken after midnight by reception telephoning me to ask me to turn down the music in my room ,i explained that i had no music on and they had woken me .No real apology was given for their mistake
