The More Hotel

The More Hotel is located in the heart of Malm and represents a very good starting point from which to explore the sights of the city. Close by are scores of shops as well as a colourful assortment of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. In addition, the train station is situated about 500 m from the hotel. The nearest beach can be reached in some 15 minutes on foot, and the cities of Copenhagen and Lund are both a 20-minute drive away.

This 16-storey hotel was constructed in 1888 and underwent renovation work in 2004. It comprises a total of 68 studios and is particularly distinguished by its high level of comfort and hospitality. The family-friendly hotel welcomes guests in an elegant lobby, where there is a check-in desk open around the clock and several lifts. Further facilities at this establishment include a newspaper stand, a breakfast room, a dining room, a lounge, a nightclub, and public Internet access. Dining options include a bar and a restaurant with highchairs available for infants. Business guests can also use the well-equipped conference rooms, while all guests may take advantage of the laundry service and the launderette facility. Parking spaces are available for those arriving by car.

The comfortable studios are intended for occupancy for one or three persons, and all come with an en suite bathroom with a shower, and an integrated lounge/ bedroom. Each comfortable lodging also has a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, an Internet connection, and a radio. A kitchenette with a fridge, a microwave oven, and tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a king-size bed and an iron and ironing board are also provided in every room as standard. The heating in the rooms is centrally regulated.

Guests are invited to make use of the hotel sauna.

Guests may select their breakfast from a buffet. Lunch and dinner may be taken la carte or as a set menu.

Driving from Sturup airport, follow the E65 towards Malm centre/ Dalaplan. Follow the signs for Sjukhus (the hospital). Pass the bus station Sdervrns, and turn left at Bergsgatan in the direction of Friisgatan, then take the first street on your left where you can see the hotel. With the airport shuttle from Sturup go to the stop Triangel and travel as far as Friisgatan. Turn left and then the next right into Norra Skolgatan and you will see the hotel on your left-hand side. From the central station with bus, take bus number 14,15, or 21 in direction Triangel. Exit the bus at Triangel and then continue to Friisgatan (as above).

The reception is occupied from Monday to Friday between 7.00h and 20:00h. It is, however, possible to check in at any time of the day or night. Please contact the hotel with information about your time of arrival, so that your check-in instructions can be prepared by staff. Housekeeping services are provided on departure or once a week for those guests staying longer. This service can also be booked at reception on request (charges apply).
