The staff at the Meadowbrook Motor Lodge were helpful, polite, and friendly. The location of the motel is very good--close to shopping, restaurants, major roadways, etc.. The hotel itself, while clean, lacked all but the basics. There was a clothes rack but no closet. The bed was adequate but not very comfortable. There was no coffee pot in the room although there was a little refrigerator and microwave. The exterior of the hotel was shabby but workmen were painting one of the buildings. If the management continues to improve the exterior and upgrade the beds and amenities then this would be a very good place to stay.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The room was not clean. The bathroom was full of mold and had a strong smell of mildew which increased when it rained. The lock on the door was minimal at best with no safety chain or bar. The tv didn't have any local channels. When the heat was turned on, there was a terrible musty smell. There was a leak somewhere in the shower and water on the floor. When you sat on the toilet seat, it moved. Lighting in the room was very poor. There were cracks in the bathroom that had been poorly repaired. There were water stains on the ceiling. The bottom dresser drawer did not close properly. Outside, the motel looked nothing like the picture in the ad or on the brochure they had. We were on the second floor and the outside walkway was unsafe. It had a definite slant and the railing had yellow caution tape on it. In summary, this was so bad, we cut short our stay even though we were told we would have to pay for the entire time and no refund would be granted. They did offer a credit against staying there again but since I'm from out of town and not likely to return soon, that was no option. The motel needs a major overhaul to make it habitable.

Very pleasant staff..everyone was friendly. Stayed there because of its proximity and price for a weeding I was attending. There was even a mall nearby!

While the front desk was helpful, there were communication issues due to language barrier(I am guessing..). I was shocked when I got to this hotel. This hotel is run down and is in poor physical condition. The room interiors are very dated, to the point of being uncomfortable. While it was affordable, it was not worth it. I had to get some Oust to make the room smell better.
