My single room was small, but very clean; the owners are very friendly and do anything for their guests. Location near quiet beach and nice walking area is fantastic. Breakfast and breakfast times are somewhat limited, but other than that, no complaints. Will definitely come back.

Earlier Breakfast please.Very comfortable accomodation and not far from the harbour. No breakfast before 8.30 am which is ok for holidaymakers but not early enough for business people. I had to be in Exeter by 9.30 so missed out.

The Meadfoot Bay Hotel is one of the best Hotel's I have had the pleasure to stay in. The family were very friendly, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable with a nice supply of warm lining unlike some well know chains. In a lovely spot, the room had a balcony connected to a garden. Totally top notch.

The room was very very small and not very nice. The shower was hand held, there was no hairdryer, tiny portable tv, and really not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The reception was closed at 7.30 in the morning. Felt like a family owned b and b and well below the standard expected.

Excellent customer service. Rooms currently being progressivley refurbished. Stayed in unrefurbished room which was still good quality. Directions to hotel were OK. Will stay there again if in area.

A very nice, comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The only comment I made on their questionnaire was that I felt it would be nicer to have bigger bath towels - other than that, a very enjoyable and relaxed stay and will certainly go there again.

One critism is the hotel is diificult to locate in the dark, either driving down the hill or up the hill, therefore I landmaked it when we went out later in the evening by noting the location of the hotel next door that was well sign posted with a sign at right angles to the road that was lit on both sides making it easily visible.
