Marstan is a Victorian villa that has been converted into a boutique hotel with a five star rating. The hotel was last updated in 2007. There is a heated swimming pool and an open air spa available to guests during the summer season. The property has a small licensed bar open year round. Breakfast is offered each morning, and early departures can request a special early meal. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the building. The hotel is a completely non-smoking establishment, and parking is provided.

What are your breakfast options?: Breakfast is served from 8:30am-9:30am, with earlier breakfast available by request from 7:00am (continental before 8:00am).

Breakfast is included in our rates. We have traditional full English, kippers, omelets, porridge, smoked salmon & scrambled egg, bagel, croissants, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, toast and other items.
What transport is available to get around?: There are buses about 100 metres from us going into the town and to other areas. From the town, there are buses, coaches and trains to take you pretty much anywhere. We also have a good taxi firm that we use. If your intention is to travel around the countryside e.g. Dartmoor, then we would recommend a car. If you don't want to drive all the way here, budget rent a car are based at Torquay train station.
What can I do nearby?: We are within walking distance of Torquay Harbour and town with its shops, bars and restaurants. We are five minutes walk to Meadfoot Beach. Our guests can enjoy our gym, sauna, indoor pool and tennis courts at Hesketh Health club (at additional cost). We have an outdoor hot tub (open all year) and a heated outdoor swimming pool (open in the summer) and a licensed bar.

We are close to Paignton Zoo, Living Coasts, Dinosaur World, Agatha Christie, Greenway Mansions, Paignton Steam Railway, Torre Abbey and numerous other historic houses/children's attractions, cinemas, etc.
