It was a great location that was close to the Mississippi River, museums, good restaurants, and shopping. We were in a town for the weekend for a wedding. The rooms were large, clean, and with king sized comfortable beds. It was also just two blocks from the light rail which takes you to the airport in about 25 minutes.

Location. No swimming pool on-site, major construction outside the hotel.

I tried all different great restuarants, I enjoyed the nicollette mall with all the things to see and do. I got great recommendations from the hotel conceign and I would also recommend getting a shoe Starr was the shoe shine lady and she also gave great recommendations.

The room was spacious and clean. Plenty of room for bags, clothes and accessories. The shower was fabulous! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was friendly and the room was wonderful. We were across from the ice machine which worried me initially. But, it was so quiet that we were never disturbed. Location downtown was good and parking was a breeze.

The room was ok, bathrooms not great for any of us, there were many staying at the Marquette...about 12 people - 6 or 7 rooms. Parking expensive; staff pretty good, INTERNET connection was extra and priced. Food in restaurants very good. Location was fine, but many fine hotels in the area...I'd try a different one next time, judging what other family members experienced at the others such as the Marriott and Radison.

The Marquette Hotel is in the IDS Tower, a great downtown location that includes restaurants and shopping. Our large, light-filled room was furnished in a modern style with light wood and soothing neutrals. Furniture included a large desk, dresser, sofa and flat screen TV. The marble tiled bathroom featured a walk-in, glass-walled shower. The only disappointment was an additional daily charge for internet access.

Room was very spacious and layed out well. Missing vending, in room mini bar expensive. The hotel was easy to find and was absolutely beautiful. Our room was very spacious and layed out in a very unique way. It was awesome to have a desk that faced the room instead of toward a wall. The furnishings were very attractive and comfortable. We liked that the bathroom was very separate from the rest of the room. It was nice having an entry into the space. Even the hallways in this hotel are very upscale. We can't wait to stay again!

My boyfriend took me here to "get away" and relax for a night, and paid a pretty penny to do so. Although the room met my expectations 100%- it was roomy, the bed was comfortable, and amenities were nice, I could not justify paying that much for a room that was really not all that much beyond what a chain such as Best Western would supply. Room service, however, was exceptional- fast delivery and delicious food. Front desk staff seemed snotty and treated us rather rudely, even though we were on the "executive level" of the hotel. When we asked how to find our room, they directed us to a map near the elevators instead of telling us or showing a map of the rooms. A great hotel that was a very nice stay, but for the money, I definitely would not go here again.

The Marquette provides the best in downtown access and amenities. Within walking distance to the Dome, the hotel is clean, convenient and is peopled with a friendly, helpful staff.

The Marquette is a lovely hotel in downtown Minneapolis. Dinner in Basil's restaurant was phenomenal, not your typical hotel restaurant, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Will stay again soon!

Convenient to business district and university. Older air conditioner did not work efficiently. Wet bar items under to much heat from light bulbs.

Although we booked this hotel at a very reasonable price, the room and service far exceeded our expectations based on what we had paid.

I was upgraded to the executive floor where the room was big and the decor was good. Excellent service, beautiful room, nice executive lounge with free treats in the morning, afternoon and evening.

Loved the downtown location; just one block from Nicollet Mall, where you'll find tons of shopping and restaurants. Internet in rooms is not complimentary. The hotel has a convenient downtown location, and provides a secure parking ramp for its customers. The rooms were clean and spacious. There were 3 of us women staying there for a shopping weekend. We ended up with a king bed and had a rollaway brought up for the 3rd person. It was positioned at the end of the bed and there was still plenty of room to walk around and store all our shopping bags. The room had an LG flat screen TV, which was nice. The bathroom was beautiful with granite counter tops and a tiled walk-in shower.

Hotel staff was great and the rooms were outstanding! Lobby was a bit plain, but very clean. Wonderful hotel for business travelers! Conveniently located in Minneapolis - we went to the Convention center everyday!
