This was an excellent hotel room at an excellent price. The hotel was located in the middle of downtown within easy walking distance to everything. Parking was cheap on the weekends. The free complimentary breakfast that came with the room beats any continental breakfast I've had at chain hotels. Will definitely stay here again.

Very average experience. My check-in receptionist was in training and it showed! But good value and very central location

The location. Too loud, rude staff. This hotel may be in a great location, but it was very noisy all throughout the night. We hardly slept at all because of all the voices and banging of doors. I called 3 time before going and was put on hold for very long periods of time. The staff on arrival and checkout were rude and not helpful.

We had problems checking in. There were drunks begging for money when we got there. The staff was airing all their dirty laundry as we were checking in. Everything is old and rundown. It seems as though they have no pride. We entered our room and it stunk like an a dirty drunk person. We found a hair in the tub and one in the sheets. We also found a bunch of lint balls all over the sheet, they hadn't even changed the sheets. We slept on top of the covers using our coats. When we went to get into our car we found the window smashed out. The lack of concern from the front desk made us see red! We asked to have our room cleaned better. Later that night w found another hair on one of sheets. Someoneate our oreos that we had left in the room durning the day. The amoun we spent getting our window fixed and buying our own sheets and cleaners we oculd have stayed at a nicer hotel. Stay away from the this hotel.

Security guards at the front door. Very noisy.

Our experience at this hotel has to rank among the worst. From the 45 minute wait for lunch to the outright lies told to us when we were investigating amenities before booking to the break-in to our vehicle to the location in the middle of one of the most dangerous parts of this city, we would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Marlborugh hotel was comfortable and convient to downtown Winnipeg. Great price but needs to improve customer service and facilities a bit. Although laundry facility was onsite (a requirement for me as I was staying for more than 3 weeks) the hotel lacked dryer sheets and neglected to tell me that the dryer was broken. Room was small but for the mostpart comfortable with a desk, chair, dresser and comfy bed. Maid staff was very attentive but the front desk staff could be a bit more responsive. The pool area and waterslide were great. Very clean and lots of fun for kids and adults (if you like waterslides). Overall..I would consider staying again if they got the plumbing fixed due to the price and convienence to downtown and attractions. Basically the shower would fluctuate between extremely hot and freezing cold almost constantly.

Location was great and friendly staff as well with good security. Overall it was a great hotel for me. Nice big and comfortable room and well located right to Winnipeg. I would stay again for sure considering the price and location.

After looking at the pictures for this hotel, it seemed to be a good value. When I arrived, the reservation I had made was not respected, even though I had confirmed the morning of arrival. I had booked a non-smoking, king room. I received a double, smoking room. The room was filthy, smelled atrocious, no air conditioning/heat, industrial bathroom and nearly rotten furniture. The area is very unsafe.

This is an inexpensive hotel in downtown Winnipeg. It is old and the interior corridor carpet is at least 20 years old and there has been little spent on upkeep. I did not expect it to be a five star hotel with a premier location. I ate a late night meal in the cafe which was average but adequate. That being said, it was clean and convieniant to downtown as expected and filled my needs well and I will stay there again.

Friendly staff with convenient location, inexpensive, tidy rooms and great pool, water slide and whirlpool. Several bar patrons obviously not social drinkers and were loud later in night with regular drunken conflicts outside hotel main entrance. Nice inexpensive hotel. Nice restaurant with reasonable prices. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, good television, good channel selection and staff were friendly and helpful. Great pool, water slide and whirlpool. It is obvious that hotel struggles with some rowdy bar patrons later at night, perhaps due to downtown location, but staff seemed to handle this less than ideal situation well.

Older Hotel, but great value for dollar spent. Perfect location when in town for business and with the kids as the pool / waterslide is great. Very friendly staff.

This hotel, was VERY dirty looking and feeling..and very dingy on the inside. The ONE HOTEL STAFF they had at the desk, was very displeased to see the clients checking in, and dind tknow the answers to any questions i had ( where are places to eat, how to get to certian places...etc) The rooms were dirty feeling, and had a bad smell...and the NOISE level in the hallways are ridiculous. ALSO The complimentary shuttle service...is NOT complimentary. I would not be staying there again...or would I be recommending this to anyone.

The breakfast room was attractive. Everything seemed old and I felt the hotel allowed partying, noise and beer cases. I will never go back again.

Was only at hotel for night; will not rate for one night. That would not be just; but it was fine over all.

The Hotel Marlborough was very nice - staff, rooms, pub all nice. The only problem was that for some unknown reason, the hotel allowed all sorts of shady characters, taht were obviously not guests of the hotel, to congregate in the lobby and entryway. There was no need for this and was a little uncomfortable.

Convenient location and excellent price. A little on the older side. If you are coming to Winnipeg to see the sites, shop, and go out this hotel is a good place to come back after a long day out. It's priced well and its easy to get to. Its on the older side but its just fine to sleep in.

I was able to stay in the downtown area on my first business trip to Canada and enjoyed the historical aspects of the hotel.

This hotel has a good feel about it. It has a lot class. Location. I am not to keen on staying downtown. This hotel has a lot of class. The staff are helpful and very friendly.Very clean and well kept. Close to lots of shopping and entertainment.
