This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Lynton. Surely one of the best hotels in iis class in Scarborough. Clean as a stick. First class breakfast. Would certainly recommend a visit

A little gemIt was a pleasure to stay at the Lynton. The room was exceptionally clean and the location was fantastic, just a short stroll through beautiful peasholme park to the seafront at North Bay. The breakfasts are wonderful and all freshly prepared. This hotel is a little gem, definitely highly recommended. We'll be back next time wer'e in scarborough (and visit the local north bay fisheries just down the road, best fish and chips we've ever tasted)

Cock o, North WeekendArrived about 9pm warm welcome and facility to park bike down side of hotel. Room was lovely and clean and spacious, was even given a map of town centre where they had marked out where all the resturants were for us to grab some tea! Breakfast was lovely especially the fruit salad - homemade!Highly recommended

Comfortable and clean with good foodA neat a tidy bed and breakfast establishment which was very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was excellent and the proprietor pleasant and very helpful. The only drawback was the water pressure which made showering a challenge. The proprietor tells me that it is the same for all the places along that road, a pity to spoil an otherwise very good experience.

Friendly management. Lovely clean, well presented room. Breakfast kept us going until tea time. Great location, only 10 mins or so walk to the town centre. A shame we only stayed for the one night.

Our second stay at the Lynton in the last three months. The friendly and welcoming owners have very high standards reflected in the cleanliness of the Guest House and quality of food offered at breakfast. Excellent location with off street parking available. Have booked to return for a week in August.

Expectations Exceeded!Travelling with my 7 yr old sun for a couple of days in Scarborough, I was drawn to The Lynton due to its sparkling reviews on LateRooms, and it did not disappoint. On arrival we were greeted promptly and shown to a great room for the two of us, and the owners had taken the care to allocate to us a room with a bath as well as a shower to accomodate my son. Nice touch. We were left to our own devices for the duration of our stay, confident that assistance was on hand if/when required, and felt able to come and go as we pleased. The room was very comfortable and equipped with good facilities for us. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room for me and again, the owners offered soft drinks for my son in replacement of the tea and coffee.Breakfast was fantastic, great value and a really wide choice, certainly the best offering I've experienced in what is really a Guest House. All in all a great stay, the owners are a really friendly couple who make it their business to make sure you enjoy your stay.Really close to the beautiful park and gardens, not to mention the North Bay area. Perfect for a short stay.
