I have stayed at the Speedway, now the Lucky Club Casino, on several occasions when visiting Vegas. Some of the comments above were accurate but the place was recently remodeled. I almost didn't recognize it when I pulled up. It is now well lit up and security is very visible and friendly too. The rooms are clean and very reasonable. This gives me more money to play in the casino (I won $600 over my 3 day stay on the slots). The clientele is better than I my lost couple of trips. The casino caters to locals and has free live entertainment Friday thru Sunday. Food quality is good & prices CHEAP!

The room was "so-so." It was very clean and the mattress was super comfortable, but it wasn't as nice as some of the Strip hotels I stayed in the past. But then again, when I came to Vegas last year it cost me a lot more than $49 per night. The food was surprisingly good. Try the lobster and shrimp for $7! Can't go wrong for the price.
