Location was great. Two different rooms were unclean needs renovation! This hotel was nothing like the pictures. It was in desperate need of a renovation and was not worth the money! The rooms were not clean and after asking to be moved to another room in hope of getting one with furniture we could sit in, the next room, while had a sofa that was usable, had dirty sheets. The staff was unhelpful as the property was booked up with our baseball tournament, but all of us agreed that we would never stayed there again. Very disappointing!

My husband and I took our children over night, and we had a splendid stay. The suite was specious enough for six. We had an awesome view from the balcony, and there was plenty to do. There are tennis courts, a golf course, a swimming pool, and a walking trail. We also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast in the back courtyard. The room was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels for each of us. The atmosphere is laid-back and tranquil. Although we did not bring our pet with us, we saw several families with their pets. I highly recommend this place.

Our king-suite had a huge jacuzzi tub (2-person), fireplace, and a balcony (not a great view...overlooked a construction area next to convention center...other rooms had views of beautiful mountains/golf course). Breakfast was great (complimentary). Look forward to staying here again in the future!

The staff was very friendly. Pancakes were burnt. The staff was outstanding! My wife and I were celebrating our 21st Anniversary and the woman at the check in desk was so nice.We highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

We found this place sort of by accident. But I have to tell you that this place is very classy and an exceptional value. The room had everything we could possibly need and the staff was fantastic. Very helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet is nothing gourmet, but is filling and offers something for everyone. My husband and I look forward to staying here on future trips.

The Lodge at Sierra Blanca in Ruidoso, NM was a very pleasant stay. The room we stayed in on this visit was on the 3rd floor and overlooked the Links Golf Course, which is a very nice course to play. It's right across the parking lot from the hotel. The hotel was clean, the staff very helpful and friendly, and the room clean and inviting. The free breakfast buffet was very good! The location was centralized. A short drive to the uptown shopping district or to a lake for trout fishing or hunting!

Very spacious clean room with a king, Jacuzzi, internet, TV, kitchen. Our balcony had a great view that overlooked the Links Golf Course and landscaped outdoor deck. A full hot buffet breakfast (eggs, pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravey) with fruit, pastries, breads, coffee, and juices was included. The bar was very small, but served a nice variety and friendly service. The entire hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. While we were there, there was no on-property lunch or dinner, but the staff was always helpful in recommending other locations. There is also a nice walking trail around the property.

We love looking our our room and seeing the golf course. We stayed in and used the outdoor grill. What a great location! The breakfast buffet always has a great selection. The rooms are always clean and we love that we have a refrigerator and coffee maker. I have recommened The Lodge to friends.

We loved this hotel! The swimming pool was great and our room was wonderful it had a Jacuzzi inside the bathroom. The free breakfast is also a very good value. We will come back.

Generally it was impressive. Although the rooms were bigger than your usual, it did not have the lush, expensive feel about it. The room was somewhat clean but looked like it could do with some updating or renovation. Unfortunately, there was a wet face towel still draped on top of the shower curtain in the bathroom which greatly influenced my suspicion that perhaps the room had not been thoroughly cleaned.

Our ""king studio"" consisted of a hide-a-bed that pulled down from the wall. The evening we checked in we found trash still in our room. The room was never cleaned thoroughly. The saying, "" You get what you pay for,"" certainly went with my discounted rate. What a disappointment!

The Lodge is a great get away for anybody that is looking to just relaxed in the out door of Ruidoso New Mexico in the forest. We had a great time and the lodge was terrific we would like to go again just to get away, we hope they have another special on their room rate.
