It seemed eerily reminiscent of the hotel in "The Shining" because there was hardly anyone there. Aside from the various pungent odors present throughout the building and the elevator malfunctioning, I felt that something wasn't right. Later pulled the kids from a filthy cold swimming pool and ran from a scorching hot tub. Room key wasn't working, but knew something else wasn't right. The next morning found all of the kids Christmas presents had been swiped from our van as well as our GPS, my wifes luggage and other electronics, even my sons car seat. The kids were devastated, I was angry. Although I parked directly in front of the lobby, no one claims to have seen anything. The thieves had taken some time to clean out our van and pop the doors so it was amazing that no one seen or heard a thing. Upon further research, it was discovered that management had 2 vagrants living in the building without paying, both of whom had been discharged that very night we stayed there - or so they say. Management doesn't seem to care if you have proper identification when you're checking in either nor do they record you LP number. This is a thieves paradise, don't be a victim like us. All signs point to an inside job here. Pay the extra money for a better stay elsewhere, you'll be glad you did.

We arrived late and hotel was very dark with an extremely noisy nightclub on the 1st floor. The hotel had a bad odor, and the elevator smell was worse. The room was on the 4th floor, but the bathtub was dirty and the ceiling was leaking water. There was no service to speak of. The hotel advertised a "continental breakfast," but it was not available at 7:30 a.m. on a weekend. When it was available, the utensils were so dirty, nothing could be eaten. After midnight, there were very unruly young men in the pool area for hours, making noise, shouting, etc. The hotel management did nothing. The hotel was in general disrepair. Orbitz should remove this hotel immediately from their listings. It deserves a "0" star rating. Warning: this review is NOT exaggerating the awful conditions of this hotel.

I like that their pool dept was beyond 5 ft. I did not like the location and the quality. This hotel is not a good place to stay. They need to clean it up. I was not the cleanest motel/hotel. What I did like was the swimming pool it was the first hotel that had diving depth I am a swimmer. However, the whirlpool water was brown and the ceiling was leaking.

I have never had to write a bad review on a hotel before but this one deff deserves one! Upon arriving at the hotel everything seemed fine, then on the toilet there was a substance and hairs on it! also the chain for the door was broke off and there were numerouse stains all over the walls! When we decided to take our two smaller children down to the pool my husband went to press the elevator button and it was stuck! So on our walk down the stairs to get to the pool cause the elevator did not work we walked by 3 trash cans all of which had trash and diapers flowing out of it! After returning to the hotel after dinner there was a large group of people hanging outside of our door which then gathered in the room right next to ours and continued to stay up until 2AM and then were up again at 4AM, while no one from the hotel came up to say anything to them, I was wondering with all the rooms availible why a group of people had to be put next to ours, finally after much frustration we decided to leave the hotel at 5:15AM. I have notified the manager through e-mail but no response back.

we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. the rooms have been newly remodeled by the very enthusiastic owner who seems pretty bent upon uprading the property. We were very happy with our stay.

The econo hotel stay was quite good , with all comfort & proper room amenities for the prices rated.Refrigerators & Microwaves reduces our extra expense on food as we use to preserve food for next day. Easy access to the attractions , conveniently from airport .

It was close to many attractions in the St. Louis area. The shower was terrible. The whole place was a little skanky and it was hard to find staff. This hotel is located near a lot of attractions and the price was fair, but the area is a little shady and the hotel could stand a little remodeling.

It was a nice comfy trip. Nothing extraordinary or unusual, simple and hassle free. Rooms are neat and clean... location is great! what more would you want from a hotel. We had the hot tub suite which was extremely oversized and cosy. Would definitely stay again.

This is an old Ramada Inn. The service at check-in was really slow with very little interaction. The clerk kept doing something with his computer but never told me what it was. Filling out a registration card the old fashioned way would have been much much faster. The hotel in general smells, the elevator smells, and the room I was in smelled and none of these are good smells. I think it is just a matter of old worn out carpet that needs to be replaced. I indicated that I would stay there again but only if there were not better choices available in a similar price range. I have stayed at the Super 8 and Motel 6 in the same area and they are not very good either. It is one of the cheapest motels close to the airport so I guess that counts for something. The night I stayed I don't think there were more than ten cars in the parking lot and this is a pretty big motel.

i knew i was in trouble when i pulled into the parking lot, it looked abandoned, going into the lobby, the place was dingy and dirty, check-in was simple and easy, the only good thing about this hotel. the place smelled and was dirty from top to bottom, i would have left immedieatly but i had my daughter with me and she was just dying to swim in the pool. the area around the pool looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months, there were cigarette butts and beer caps around the whirlpool, when i complained to the manager, he looked at me like i was stupid for asking. the tv remote had a large melted spot on it from a cigarette, nice. the bathroom door wouldnt close, do i need to go on, NOBODY should stay at this hotel, ever.

If youwant to stay at a hotel that has hardly any other guests (but they still put you on the 4th floor), this is the hotel for you! The elevator needs updating. I thought for sure we were going to get stuck in it. The card key to the room hardly ever worked. We spent 15 minutes trying to get into the room. The room itself smelled like sewage. The bathtub took hours to drain after taking a shower. The remote to the TV did not work. Got a new one from the front desk and when we turned the TV on the next morning, the remote did not work again. The vending machine only had 4 choices. We did have the pool to ourselves, it was freezing though. The air conditioner was very loud, kept me awoke half of the night.

Stay started with my car being broken into during check-in (5 minutes-maybe). 500 in items stolen and car door lock was damaged. I was parked approx. 100-150 ft from front entrance, in front of hotel. Staff had little empathy. When police arrrived, clerk said it was the first such robbery in his 6 months there--policeman laughed and said "You're joking, right. Room was comfortable, although bathroom was not the cleanest. Noise form the inside lounge carried on until after midnight. Did not try restaurant.Crime and hoodlum element through-out hotel caused a less than restful night. Would not recommend.

The lodge had unwelcoming staff and was dirty and unkept. Upon arrival I called the front desk to request extra towels, as I had only been given two, they said they would send someone up and never showed. I went down and got my own. The breakfast was horrible and I found mold in the jelly, I took the jar to the front desk and they argued with me saying it was a brand new jar so it couldn't be mold. The room was dirty, the bathroom was the worst, with a ring in the toilet and the tub had mildew on the shower curtain. My last morning there, the water was shut off. When I went to the front desk to complain, he said it was only 15 min. Never mind it was the 15 min I was in the shower. The elevator would go up to my floor but not down from my floor, scary to be in at all. I was very disappointed and glad this was a trip just for me and that I didnt have my children with me or I would not have stayed.

Indoor pool. Dirty and in poor repair, no maitenance done for some time on this hotel. It was ok for a few days stay but it needs to be remodeled, everything showed a lot of wear inside and outside the facility as if the repairs had not been kept up even though most everything worked it was old and showed a lot of wear throughout the hotel, could be a nice family hotel with some remodeling and fix up/clean up.

for an econo lodge, this place is unbelievable! i've stayed at other econo lodges before, but this hotel provides so much more for the price you pay! indoor heated pool, fridge, microwave, free inroom dsl!! i could go on! we had to stay here for two nights due to power failure in our home and i was very pleased with my choice. i felt i had to put in my review for the management deserves it for the exceelent services they're providing!

Nice pool area. Mattresses like concrete. No one slept. The hotel smelled. The air freshener on the elevator was so strong, you couldn't breathe. The smell on the stairway was worse than the air freshener. The mattresses were like concrete.
