I loved the nice big room and the spacious bathroom with a tub. Very fun to take bath in. My boyfriend and I had an awesome time and all the staff was very friendly and professional.

Beautiful location. Large rooms. Patio. Croquet was great! Pool area - no jacuzzi but using Loews was great! Great experience with Priceline! We loved the Lodge at Ventanna Canyon with it's awesome views and very spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff was superb and being able to use the pool at Loews was a huge bonus! We will definitely do this again!

Top rate, staff, room size, value for the money excellent. I may have recieved a really good rate for the nights I stayed through online travel website but regardless, the stay was great. The only short coming was the one night we ate at the hotel. We paid the equivelant of another nights stay for a meal I could have gotten on the local economy for a third the cost. Understand your staff gratuities will be charged on top of the quoted rate. Even with that additional cost, this was a great stay for the money. The view from the room balcony.......breathtaking.

This was my first trip to Tucson, AZ. Wow, what a blast!! The Lodge at Ventana Canyon was amazing & had everything I needed including a great golf experience, awesome tennis courts & a great over sized pool. The Lodge also had exceptional service including a very friendly staff! It was so quaint & quite; just a great get away destination. I will definitely be going back but this time will bring more family & friends to experience a great stay.

The Lodge at Ventana Canyon was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms clean, spacious and comfortable. I would definatly stay there again when travleling to Tucson. Note that there is an automatic 20 a day gratuity so you do not have to tip every individual...so use the staff!

The Lodge At Ventana Canyon is an extremely pretty property that is very well maintained. Their rooms are spacious and well equipped with all the amenities you may need for a comfortable stay. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the check-in process is the most convenient and personal I've ever experienced - with an in-room check-in style. I appreciated how spacious their bathroom was as well as the fantastic view of the foothills and the golf course.

Very nice rooms with the best comfortable bed ever experienced at a hotel! Nothing. It was impeccable. Very nice location, relaxed setting with a fantastic view of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. An extremely good romantic get-a-way.

Two friends and I got together for a ""girls weekend"" even though we all live in Tucson. We spent a weekend at Lodge of Ventana and were so impressed! The staff was friendly, the rooms super large and immaculate. The bedroom was huge and was shut off from the living room by a shuttered panel door. There was a table large enough to actually use, and comfortable chairs and couch. The beds were amazing! The bathroom was very large and luxurious and had many amenities--including wonderful fluffy robes! We will definitely go back!

I called and requested King size bed and they said sure and still got two doubles for my 25 wedding anniversary. Disappointing, and staff was rude.

Very pretty property. All appliances are old and the daily fee is not worth it. Very pretty views, might consider staying again, the daily charge is very expensive. It was a weekend and there was never a valet on duty. The rooms do need some upgrades.

The location in the mountains was outstanding. Charges for services and the blanket charge. We enjoyed the stay very much. The hotel staff were very accomodating and the room was clean and had everything we expected to find in a hotel. We were told that a jacket must be worn at the dinner table however there were a number of men who were not dressed with jackets.

Golf club property and had great outdoor spaces and common areas. The room was extremely outdated and needing a complete makeover. The property, common areas, outdoor spaces (including golf course), spa services and staff were among the best I've seen. However, the room was so old-looking, and outdated - in spite of great personal products, robes, and other touches - that this can't really qualify as an excellent experience. I am sure there are other properties close by that will deliver a complete experience that is better than Lodge at Ventana Canyon, at least until they bring their hotel rooms out of the 70s.

The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgable about surrounding recreational areas. The balcony view was hindered by very high vines on the balcony preventing the view of the mountains while sitting in chairs. The Lodge at Ventana Canyon is nestled close to the Tucson foothills, and presents a lovely romantic view. Sabina Canyon State Park is conveniently close to the Lodge, and an exciting place to hike during the day. Mt. Lemon is also close to the Lodge and a great place for a romantic sunset viewing. The hotel staff was polite, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The hotel restaurant was inviting with its handsome southwest decor, the meal was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The Lodge is a great place for golfers, tennis players, hikers, or those who just want to enjoy the beauty of the southwestern desert foothills.

Grounds were very nice and location was great. The clientele were rich old republicans. There seemed to be no cultural diversity in the staff or customers. Nice location near Sabino Canyon. The hotel is dated (late 70’s) but cleans and well kept, very similar to the old Republicans who seem to hang out there. The security booth at the entrance was slow and unnecessarily authoritarian. The Board of Directors photo prominently displayed in the hallway confirmed that this is an all white and all male run establishment. The message was people of color stay out. Neither the hotel nor its staff seemed to reflect the diversity that otherwise abounds in the Tucson area.

Lovely location, large and comfortable room, very helpful staff. No business center, so you need to bring your own computer if you need one.
