Lavender House offers accommodation on a Bed Breakfast basis, with 11 hotel rooms and a self contained cottage. Most requirements can happily be met with. For example, this is a perfect venue for a wedding. At Lavender House, we pride ourselves on offering a relaxed and exclusive venue for your special occasion. You can be assured that the only guests within the hotel and grounds are your guests, enjoying your special day. Our cherished 1951 Rolls Royce can be available for hire, and you can take advantage of the beautiful natural surroundings and enhance your special day by way of our garden ceremony. You can have your ceremony conducted in our Gazebo, enjoying panoramic views of picturesque DartmoorThe hotel rooms are comfortable and benefit from being en suite, and are priced accordingly.

What are your breakfast options?: Most guests book B&B so breakfast would be included in the price. If guests book room only they can upgrade to include breakfast at £10 per person. Breakfast is available normally from 8:00am - 10:00am or earlier/later by arrangement.
What transport is available to get around?: We offer a taxi service for airport/station transfers with your own executive cars. Unfortunately being situated on the moors there are no passing buses, the nearest bus stop is 1/2 - 3/4 mile from us, there you can catch buses to Exeter, Plymouth & Newton Abbot where the nearest rail link is situated and Torquay.
What can I do nearby?: As we are on the edge of the Moors, these are the main attractions in the area. As we are only 1/4 mile off the main A38 Devon Expressway, we can reach a number of other attractions easily. Exeter (25 miles) has a host of city atrraction from the cathedral to the dockside bistros, etc. Crealy is a large adventure park about 28 miles from us. Another adventure park is Woodlands (16 miles). Plymouth with the maritime connection, also has large aquarium and ski slope. Torquay, Dartmouth and Brixham all know for coastal activities are all within 20 miles from us.
Do you have internet?: Yes, all rooms have free internet access with a password.
Do you provide parking?: We have parking at the hotel for approximately 80 cars.
