Decent little hotel less than 10 mins walk from the tube station. Situated in a quiet area. The service is good and the rooms are good value for money. Small bathroom, creeky bed but it was all clean. Breakfast continental only but satisfactory. Would stay again due to proximity to central london.

Nicely placed between Hampstead Garden Village and Swiss Cottage. But parking is difficult if you go by car.

Room was advertised as 4 star. Maybe 40 years ago. Room furniture, drapes and bed were VERY old. TV was a 15" monitor and supposedly had WIFI but I couldn't get a signal. NO air conditioner so you have to open windows. And if you are in the room I was in (basement next to entrance) you hear comings and goings all night long. Hotel is situated in a residential neighborhood just a few blocks from the Finchley Rd underground Jubilee Line. And even closer is the O2 center that has shopping, restaurants and movie theater. Just down the road (and even closer to amenities mentioned above) for £10 more you can stay at the newer and nicer hotel that I moved to after the first night!

We were pleasantly surprised after reading other comments about this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, hotel clean and breakfast, although "continental" was not just a croissant and jam there was also cereal, fruit juice, yoghurt, cheeses, meats, toast, bread rolls, tea, coffee - all served with pleasure by the friendly and helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only suggestion would be double glazing perhaps, because we had a front room and there was noise from the passing traffic

A small hotel with approx 30 rooms. A warm greeting and rooms available as promised at 1p.m. so we could change for the wedding. Room was clean but paintwork beginning to need a facelift, but the quality of the mattress was excellent and a comfy night was had by all. Were initially worried by no cooked breakfast but need not have been as there was a splendid array of fresh fruit and cereals, yoghourts, meats and cheeses , crusty bread and croissants. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and delicious. Tea or coffee was brought to your table. The only problem we noticed was that everybody seemed to arrive at the same time for breakfast and there were not enough tables, but this was probably more likely at a weekend than during a working week.No- one had very long to wait, however.Altogether a very pleasant experience and one which we would be happy to repeat.

Excellent hotel for London. Homely atmosphere. 24hr concierge. Rooms not completely soundproofed from noisy people in next room slamming doors, but on 2nd night slept much better. Parking rather traumatic. But overall great place to stay.

Great hotel within easy walking distance of Hampstead and Hampstead Heath where we went to our concert. Situated on a quiet leafy road bedrooms were well insulated from neighbour noise. Linens and towels were very clean, my only small complaint would be having to crouch on the floor to use the hairdryer which was wired through the back of the drawer in the dressing table. Would definitely stay here again as the neighbourhood was so nice and its near 2 tube stations making it easy to get back into central London. The stay would have been improved by a cooked breakfast but the continental buffet was generous.

This hotel was excellent in all respects. It was a short walk from the tube, and only a stroll away from Hampstead High Street. The decoration was tired - my room was clean (except the windows had been neglected for some time), though it appeared dated. The bathroom was spotless, but again, needed redecorating.Food was good - no restaurant on an evening - but room service food was basic and plentiful. Breakfast was continental, but it was well presented, and fresh. The staff were extremely polite and helpful - they all had a smile, which was lovely! The hotel represented good value for London - I would recommend it to anyone who has children who needs a base to explore the capital.

We stayed here for two days (end of August). Since this was one of the cheaper hotels I certainly positively suprised during our in The Langorf Hotel. Very nice hotel certainly delivering good quality for the price payed. Nice spacious rooms (we stayed at room 202 and 407), breakfast was good and although the Hotel does not provide restaurant service, the roomservice menu was good as well. With only a few hundred meters away from "Finchley Road" station and therewith from the "Jubilee" line this hotel has great access to central London. Above all the personel was friendly which certainly contributed to us enjoying our stay at this hotel.

I found the hotel to be very good value for money. Its a bit of a trek from Finchley Road tube station but once here there is certainly a nice feel to the place. Its safe, clean and I can get internet access either through their wi fi or via hsdpa. The room I had was small but comparable to other smal room in other hotels. The bed could have done with a better mattress but it was a double so wasnt a problem. I have come back this week and they have upgraded me to a very sizeable double executive room which is great. The other thing about this hotel is it has the best Continental breakfast you could find. All in all, a very nice hotel and very good value for money.

We had a family room in Novemeber for 3 of us. This was adequate, but I did not like the semi basement location which was gloomy. The bedcover and carpet were somewhat stained. The best thing was the location (quiet yet 5 mins from main road, buses, tube and rail)and the building (regency style house). The beds however, were very poor, sagging with prominent springs. Should be replaced as a matter of urgency

The only real complaint I had about this hotel was the lack of car parking in fact it was none existent and i had to by a car parking permit from reception at a cost of £1 50p per hour. They do have an arangement with the local sainsbury's Supermarket where you can leave your car for however long you wish for £10. 50p but as soon as you leave the park if you want to go back in it cost you another £10. 50p. Having said that the Public transport was excellent with the Underground and buses just a short walk from the hotel

Perefectly situated 5-10min walk from both Finchley Road and Hampstead tubes on a fairly quiet street the hotel was pleasant, the room a fair size (by London standards) and I would happilly stay here again.
