Description:
If you are searching for an historic inn with affordable class where culinary passion is executed to near perfection, The Kennebunk Inn is the place. We are a quick 80 minutes north of Boston and 25 minutes south of Portland on Main Street, Kennebunk. Move from our front porch to all the twin villages of the Kennebunks (Kennebunk and Kennebunkport) have to offer - beautiful beaches, nature preserves, museums, galleries, antique shops, and more. We look forward to sharing our special place in the land of the pointed firs.

Very nice, quaint. It was a very old bed and breakfast ---but it was very clean and the staff was terrific. The bed and breakfast was located on a main highway thru town. Our room faced the highway. Cars were not the problem -- just the load motorcycles.

The bed was comfortable and the food was incredible. The room and bathroom were smaller than I expected. This Inn has a B&B feel to it, a little shabby but in a good way with lots of character. Our room had lots of slanted roof which gave it character but made the room a bit claustrophobic. The bed was comfy and the linens were clean and nice. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

The inn is a nice old renovated building, charming in parts. It's located on Route 1 and easy to get to. Not much of interest nearby to walk to. There's a good cafe across the street. Food in the dining room is vastly overpriced, and the menu pretends to things it doesn't deliver. Further, they won't honor the price that travel webs is quoting, so be careful with that. If we should ever decide to return to the neighborhood, we'll definitely choose another spot.

The walls in this hotel are paper thin-- so thin that we could hear our neighbors going to the bathroom. The tiny room was also lacking room darkening shades. Not horrible, but we won't be going back.

The hotel and room had a nice atmosphere. Bathroom was a bit old. The hotel met my expectations, it had a nice atmosphere and the room was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit old and out of shape but when taking the hotel pricing into account, that's totally acceptable.

We were very disappointed with the very small, sparsely furnished and overpriced room overlooking a gas station. The staff was friendly.

The Kennebunk Inn is a very nice place to stay in the Kennebunk Area. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. You are not very far from Kennebunkport, but not in the hustle of Kennebunkport. The Inn keepers are very nice and friendly and try to help in any way. The rooms are small, but very nice. Would go back, if we were in that area!

This is a lovely old inn, with a great atmosphere and perfect location. Unfortunately, my visit was cut short, and I didn't get to try the restaurant. However, my room was very comfortable (although the decoration was slightly on the sparse side), and I couldn't have been greeted more warmly. I'll definitely be staying here again. Cozy, snug and very inviting! (And the bed was so-o-o-o comfy!)

My fiance and I stayed at the Kennebunk Inn on Memorial Day weekend. I went expecting it to be shabby chic, and was disappointed when I realized that everything in the room was just old. There was a chair in the room that could not be used to sit since it was so fragile (my fiance and i are not large people, so we expected to be able to utilize this chair with comfort). There is a 24 hour gas station next to the building, which is fine, but honestly a little common sense would be to put darkening shades in the rooms that face it. Our room was illuminated all night long. The bathroom was small and uncomfortable, and the plumbing left lots to be desired. Beware when using the sink in room 33, there is only scalding hot or viciously cold water available (how about some new sinks and fixtures, and some new showers heads while you're at it?) The atmosphere was unreasonably uppity, and the woman who showed us to our room barely cracked the faintest fake smile. The woman who was working in the morning when we checked out seemed positively shocked that our stay was just ok. She had no words; she just looked at me with giant, vacant eyes. There was no apology, just silence and a handing over of the receipt. I think the employees there need to learn some people skills. Lastly, the breakfast. I have stayed in many bed and breakfasts, including one on the outskirts of Paris that was downright scary, right down to the toothless, creepy owner. I have never had a breakfast that was as disappointing as the one at the Kennebunk. It consisted of raisin muffins (note to Kennebunk, a lot of people dislike raisins; so perhaps some variety is key here). Some english muffins in a basket; some, I think , peanut butter and jam in bowls. I think so at least, but I'm not sure as they were not labeled. There was also milk and orange juice, and some rice crispies. THAT WAS IT! I was shocked, it was not as if we had gotten to breakfast late and thing had been picked over. It was just bare. We hi
