Very helpful and friendly front desk and a beautiful building. My only warning is that it is dead smack in the middle of a suburban office park, not out on the edge of the wilderness. I'm not familiar with Denver, so this was a surprise from the website. Fortunately, you only notice this when you drive up, and when you look out the window at the airport (not DIA, though).

The wild rabbits on the grounds. The upgrade charge they hit you with upon arrival. Serious hot/cold water mix issues in the shower, nearly scalded if I didn't move fast enough.

The staff was outstanding from the time we arrived to the time we left. From the lounge to the valet to the adult beverage servers!!! The room on the other hand was not what I had expected. For the money spent it was small and was not comfortable to spend 7 days. the room was outdated. I booked online expecting a king bed and upon arrival got a room with 2 dbl. the desj said the only kings were on the 'club level and there was an upcharge. We did negociate the rate but still an upcharge for something I had thought I was getting. The staff on the club level was similar to the rest- exceptional and very accomodating. I would stay there again but now I know the rules.

We were there for a wedding. The hotel did a wonderful job at the wedding. Everthing was ok except the additional day charge which no one told us about untill we checked in. t

The amenities were nice but a bit outdated. Not very nice for a hotel rated with 4 stars. We were charged 9.99 extra per day for hotel amenities. I would have to know next time if there were extra charges other than the price that is quoted to me. The hotel was not that great either. Our room had the view of a flat rock roof.

I read the one review that obviously a crabby traveler left and had to reply. The service offered at the Inverness is outstanding. Granted I was not there on a "Romantic Getwaway" but that is the travelers fault as this is not this hotels primary target. It takes care of the weary business traveler and does it very well. You are greeted with several Hello's as soon as you enter. The front desk personnel are very professional and go out of their way to be friendly and make small talk to make their guests feel comfortable and special. Book the Inverness so you can decide. Don't take it from Mr. Stingy in the previous review!

Stayed for a romantic getaway for a weekend. The room did not include a tub and for a hotel in this price range and quality this is nothing short of absurd. Asked for a room for a tub and was told it would be 30 extra. SO really wanted a relaxing soak so I agreed, then noticed a 9.99 check out fee and inquired. Told it was hotel policy and I could take it up with the manager if I wanted. Whatever the price quoted add 10. SO woke up early and went to the lobby for coffee and to read, no complimentary coffee and could not buy one cup without paying for 12.95 for the buffet. Back in the room shortly after 8:00AM Sunday room service was knocking on the door, my fault did not put the privacy out, asked to come back later. 45 minutes later, with privacy back knocking at the door. 45 minutes after that someone knocking at the door to check the mini bar, to which we did not have a key. Made for a real relaxing Sunday morning. Checking out, no eye contact, no "how was your stay", no smile. I asked what the name of the President/CEO and was told George FIsher (yes a letter is on the way). I would have thought a customer asking about the name of the President/CEO would have sparked some response similar to "I hope your stay was okay?". Nope. Only the valet, doorman and concierge were friendly, smiling and accomodating. If you stay be ready for an unfriendly, un-empowered staff, no common sense for timely interruptions and increased fees and expenses.

The staff was very helpful. The reason for our stay was a memorial service for a family member, so we did not have the opportunity to enjoy the eminities of the hotel. The Inverness has character...from the lovely entrance and gardens to the view of the mountains.

Lobby was nice and comfortable. Adding resort fee to customers. The hotel I felt look down. I was charged a resort fee for coffee in the room, parking (due to 4 weddings, valet parking was full and had to park myself anyway) morning paper that was all gone by the time I checked out at 10:30. I was told that only people that book directly with the hotel do not have to pay this fee. So instead of paying the bid amount, it was like paying $10 more a bit deceptive as it seems the hotel honestly did not accept my bid. Also the room I was giving was out of the way and had no bath, only a shower stall. When we went to the pub, there was children playing, the music was to loud to talk to my guest and we left after the bartender never came over.

We were only there for the weekend but everyone was so friendly especially the bartenders in the Spotted Dog. We enjoyed all of the Club Level amenities especially the valet parking, happy hour, and continental breakfast each morning. We would stay here again and bring our kids.

From the moment I arrived, the level of courtesy and attention to detail was amazing! The hotel elevators smelled somewhat like oil/grease. This is a beautiful and luxurious hotel in a great location. From the courtesy of valet parking staff, to registration, to the maids, everyone was professional and went the extra mile. The rooms were comfortable and the view onto the golf course was a plus. I would stay there again and again.

Awsome beds! My husband and I took a brief break from work and totally relaxed at the Inverness. The pool area is so private, the only negative I can say is the drinks are very expensive if you order pool side. We have used their spa and it was one of the nicest experiences a spa has to offer. The rooms on the 5th floor are wonderful! You get his and hers robes and it is a split level so it feels very fancy. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is so very friendly. We recommend this hotel to everyone because it is our favorite place to stay when we visit Colorado.

We have stayed at this beautiful hotel for the last seven years -everytime we visit our daughter in Denver. It is a beautiful setting on a golf course with views of the mountains. You do not realize you are in the city but you are close to malls and the freeway. The service is excellent and the food fantastic. The beds are comfortable. It has everything we like.

Staying at Inverness was perfect for getting to know the Denver area. Very close access to freeway, shopping, entertainment, dining, and recreation. Nice view from room and plenty of amenities. Definately perfect for business, personal our couple stay.
