A classic, character-filled New England inn and four-season resort in the heart of Vermont's ski country, the Inn of the Six Mountains provides a wealth of comforts and convenience in a dramatic locale. There's also an on-site exercise facility, indoor/outdoor hot tubs and swimming pools and video game room. Dine at the hotel's Cedar Restaurant, with breakfast year round and dinner July-Oct & Dec-March. Relax and have a drink in our lounge or just take a break in front of a crackling ! fire in our central living room.
A true four-season resort, the Inn of the Six Mountains becomes a spa in warmer months, the Jimmy LeSage New Life Hiking Spa, with a full range of massage and reflexology services to soothe body and mind. In addition, the Inn offers access to Vermont's top public golf course (as ranked by Golf Digest Magazine). Very comfortable with friendly staff.

The hot tub was nice. Hotel clerk was not very friendly. Only double beds. Did not seem as upscale as advertised. Bed choice was limited to only double beds or one queen. Only continental breakfast available and was very limited selection. Staff was not friendly, only one person was.

The hotel is very 'tired' but the rooms are adequate and fairly clean. Breakfast is a very basic buffet, but again adequate. There are no services available during the day, and the restaurant is only open Thursday-Sunday. It's a car drive to the ski slopes. Wouldn't stay there again, and would hesitate to recommend the hotel to others.

During my New Year's weekend trip to Killington we stayed at the Inn of the Six Mountains, based on the favorable review from a online website. Aside from the location being 3 minutes away from the slopes, this hotel was terrible. The rooms were old and run down. Bedding and drapes were torn and dirty. Carpet was gross and the room smelled damp and moldy. The swimming pool area was a horror. Dark and murky water that smelled more like bleach than chlorine. Overall, we were unhappy with the Inn of the Six Mountains and would not recommend it to anyone.

The staff were above and beyond friendly and accommodating, but the overall experience was not as expected. The hotel was old, shabby, and unclean. There were no dining options available, and there was nothing nearby to accommodate travelers during the non-ski season. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, the air conditioning was inadequate on nights that were warm. The outdoor pool wasn't open - closed for maintenance. The level of noise outside my room on the second floor made it impossible for me to keep my windows open on cool days (to avoid the bad air conditioning). Overall not a good experience at all, and definitely not satisfied with my stay at this hotel. However, the staff were fabulous...wish there were people that friendly and conscientious at NICE hotels!

The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and the location was convenient. Bed was comfortable and clean overall. The room was comfortable and the staff was extremely hospitable and helpful. The pool, exercise areas and common rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall, although the room itself was spacious enough; the ambiance reflected old as in tired.

The restaurant downstairs serves really delicious food! I was impressed. The staff is friendly and I'd stay in the hotel again.

room was clean and well lit, and of an acceptable size. Wireless internet and cable TV were available in the room. A large breakfast was included(warm and cold). Ample parking and a place to safely store skis next to the parking lot. Staff were very pleasant and let us stay an extra 4 hours in the room, without charge, so that we could ski the last day.

The stay was okay, staff at least at the front desk were good, didn't really see anyone else, rooms were on the small side, price was fair, good location but I think I would check other places in the area to see if they have more to offer.

Location. Outdated andneed of refurbishing.

Staff was indifferent. Towels/washclothes suitable for dermabasion. Dirty bathroom. No coffee during breakfast. The only things done by room service during multi-day visit was to make the bed/emplty the wastepaper baskets. If this is how they are off-season, they're discouraging repeat visits.

The Inn at Six Mountains has a great location and the possibility of being a great hotel during the busy season. The dinner restaurant was closed and although there are plenty of restaurants nearby it would've been nice to have been told at check in. The room was spacious, nicely furnished and relatively clean.

The location. Terrible continental breakfast. Rooms were out-dated. Stayed at this hotel as a business traveler. Was surprised at how antiquated the rooms were given the other reviews. The bathroom sink needed some cleaner to prevent the over-spraying that occurred. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I was very disappointed at the continental breakfast. They could have provided yogurt/hardboiled eggs at a minimum. I was stuck with muffin or instant oatmeal with added water for breakfast.

We got a Deluxe King room with a Balcony as reserved but the view was of a junk pile (not kidding) The hotel is old and in pretty bad shape. The outdoor pool was stained and the liner was falling off and ripped. The concrete around the pool was broken. The indoor pool is nice because it's newer. The remainder of the facility is in dire need of an infusion of a large amount of money to repair it. Overall we had a nice time and the staff was pretty friendly and the price was great. We just didn't sit on the balcony because the view was horendous.

Recently, I stayed at the Inn at Six Mountains and found the location to be excellent. It's located directly in the heart of Killington on Killington Road. The holtel is adjacent to the Killington Golf Resort and is easily accessed. The holtel has a nice pool when visting in the summer and beautiful views of the foliage in the fall. There are many excellent restaurants in the very near surroundings. There are a number of quaint shopping stores and areas such as Woodstock in the neighboring town. Skiing is unsurpassed in the winter and a great place for a for a long weekend with your parnter or with the whole family.

during the summer months, most of the restaurants near this location are closed since this is a ski resort area. the hotel was o.k. but i had several small issues. first, upon entering the room is was very hot (expected for july) however the a.c. system in the room lacks the power to significantly cool the room down. the room does not have the typical in-wall heater/a.c. but rather a portable a.c. unit that is too small for the room. the towels were not white, but had a slight yellow tint too them which kind of give you bad vibes that they were dirty. the toilet lack "flush" power requiring two flushes to achieve 100% fresh water. the balcony was o.k., we had a decent view of the mountains. however, many nail needed to be hammered back down, so barefoot walking could be a bit painful. further there was a huge chuck missing out of one of the planks which could pose dangerous for small children. overall this was/is NOT a bad place despite some of the issues i had. i would stay here again if i return to the area, but i would NOT rule out other locations.

We stayed there for 2 days. We had a nice time - didn't really have time to use all the amenities so can't comment on that. BEAUTIFUL VIEW!

3rd floor room had a high ceiling and a skylight. Dirty carpets andpoor food selection in cafe/bar.

Nice location, big room, decent breakfast included, pool is long enough for laps but very narrow. Good for the money (but I might have payed less than the usual since it was towards the end of the season) My only small complaints are with the staff who were ok but not as friendly or helpful as I expected; the woman seemed sick though, so maybe it wasn't her best day. I asked her for directions for Pico and she told me how to get there but didn't tell me the mountain was closed for the season, so I wasted some ski time driving to Pico and back (my fault too). Most likely she just didn't know; but it's a ski town, I would expect people to know what mountains are open. Also we got there there at 12:30pm (before the official checkin time, true) and the room was not ready, (although the parking lot was empty, so it didn't look like they were super busy). Maybe it's just me - I was expecting above average services, based on the hotel reviews.
