Stayed for a mini vacation in SB. Hotel had a good location. Rooms were nice, and customer service was great. Would recommend to others.

Beautiful hotel, great location. No air conditioning. Nice hotel, very friendly manager and staff. Delicious breakfast for the morning. Very short walk to the beautiful beach and great restaurants. Manager recommended a fantastic restaurant for dinner. Great jogging path nearby for a gorgeous morning jog. My only complaint is no AC installed in the rooms! Very hot upon check in, we ran every fan available and had a very uncomfortable nights sleep.

I was a little disappointed in the room - no decor/style, zero view! Looked in the windows of other vacant rooms that were a little nicer (one with a corner fireplace.) Walkway right outside the window didn't allow open curtains. Frank, the resident manager made the stay worthwhile. Met other lovely guests at breakfast.

the owner is a wonderful, almost cheesy greeter. His charm is laid on rather thick, but made the stay enjoyable. Very knowledgeable and ready with info on the area.

Great service from staff. Construction. Makes the most of their property.

If you are ever in the Santa Barbara area and need a clean, quiet, and totally enjoyable hotel pick this one. The manager was more helpful than any place I have stayed before. He goes out of his way to help you in any manner. The continental breakfast exceeds any thing you could wish for.

We really enjoyed our brief stay at the Inn at East Beach. We typically stay at the West end of Cabrillo Blvd, but for a change of pace, this location was great. The manager was super friendly and the room was really spacious. The microwave was nice as well, & the next time, we might pick a unit with a kitchen!

Nothing. Construction. Brutal, do not stay here.

Let me say that the on-site manager, Frank, was engaging, interesting, and extremely helpful. That said, I was disappointed that there was no A/C in the rooms and my room must have been 85+ degrees when I entered after check-in in the evening. The room cooled off overnight, but I wouldn't want to have been there during the day. The rooms are simple, somewhat low-budget, clean but nothing exciting. One nice plus is that they provide free parking, internet access, continental breakfast, and bottled water. The small pool closed at 9:00 PM, a little earlier than what I'm used to.

Small, fifty's style older motel. Manager was a wonderful welcoming individual. Property was spotless. Rooms were clean. Block off of the beach. People above us were noisy one night but not for long. Contential breakfast was great. items were hand picked by the manager and were all of great quality and choices.

The location, right near the beach. Overzealous front desk attendant. I have stayed at this hotel before, and had good memories of it, but this recent visit shattered that pre-conception. The front desk staff was rude to us from the moment we got there, and it only got worse. The only sincere kindness I picked up on was when I gave him my credit card upon checkout.

My friend and I did a San Francisco to San Diego Trip. This little motel was perfectly situated for a mid point stop. The rooms was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen and fireplace. The high point of the stay was the manager, Frank Santana. He was one of the most charming characters I have met in years. He sincerely cared abut your stay and was helpful in providing info regarding Santa Barbara. The complimentary breakfast was great. It is definitley a return spot.

The hotel has a smaller amount of rooms than the neighboring hotels, but was very cozy and modern. The beach was across the street and food was able to be delivered from the hotel next door within 30 min. The manager was very personable, he helped carry our bags in when we got there late at night (we were carrying a baby and needed the help). I felt very safe and comfortable. The room had a cute dining table and was very clean and new looking.

This hotel has a 5-star staff! Can't think of anything. We were totally impressed with the level of customer service we recieved from the hotel manager. The main reason we will stay at this hotel when we visit Santa Barbara in the future.

I booked my stay at this hotel by revieiwing the comments posted by other travelers on this very website. When we first arrived I was skeptical by the outward appearance. Don't be...this place is definitely worth it, great value for the money. Upon arrival they provided S.B brochures, pamphlets, etc. Frank the owner is great; very nice and always willing to offer advice or tips for traveling, where to go, etc. The continental breakfast way exceeded my expectations. They had fresh baked goods (muffins, bagels, etc) delivered every morning; along with juices and coffee. The rooms were extremely clean and offered a refridgerator and microwave. We were only one block from the beach, about a mile from the pier, and roughly 1.5 miles from downtown. Couldn't beat the location for the price. Free parking is also a much appreciated added bonus. If you're interested, they've also got a pool which was small, but clean.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Inn at East Beach in Santa Barbara. The Hotel staff was so nice and friendly, and made us feel welcome from the minute we checked in. The pool was great with comfortable lounge chairs to relax in. The location was awesome, only about a block from the beach, and a five minute drive from great shopping and excellent dining. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff: outstanding! Bed: most comfortable I've ever slept on! Breakfast: fabulous! A little far from downtown. But a convenient shuttle compensates. We were blown away by the warmth of the welcome and the comfort of the facility (especially the mattress!). The continental breakfast made us wonder.

The carpet in the room was dirty and the room smelled like an animal had been staying in it. The desk clerk accused me of having an extra guest in my car, even though I only made reservations for one. I was traveling alone. The room did not have air conditioning. This room was not worth $255.00!

Quaint, well planned decoration, quiet and peaceful. This hotel is in a great location. I would highly recommend this hotel.
