This hotel is newly remodeled with mini fridge, microwave, bar area and granite counter tops. It was clean, they provided fresh towels everyday and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed for 6 nights and for the most part, liked the hotel. It was pretty close to Disney World and a straight, easy drive to Disney World also. The free continental breakfast was great and saved us a lot of money by not having to pay for breakfast. It had make-your-own waffles and cereal, bagels, etc. We did have problems finding parking spots several nights and our shower faucet was broken. When you pulled the tab all the way up to turn the shower on, the faucet would shoot off!! It could hurt someone if they were standing in the shower--luckily we were not! We reported the problem and the hotel staff immediately sent maintenance to check on it. Also the hot and cold symbols in the shower were installed backward so that was kind of annoying. You had to turn the knob to "c" to get the hot water. Despite the few problems we had, I would stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap, clean and convenient place to stay near Disney.

We only stayed because of free Disney tickets. We had to ask everyday for clean towels and cups. There was a free shuttle to disney, but we were on it for an hour before it got a flat tire and we had to get off at epcot (thank God it made it that far!). The carpet was so dirty that our feet turned black on the bottom if we did not wear shoes.

The interior of the room looked to be recently updated and was reasonably clean; room was narrow and dark (some light bulbs out as well). No towels in room nor bathmat or other towels. When requested, brought 3; said rest was coming but never did. Ice machine broken. Air conditioner was terribly loud. Went to eat free breakfast when leaving; not ready. Left a pair of rather expensive sunglasses in room in a specific drawer; called back within the hour to ask them to keep them for me and I would retrieve on the way back. After trying to get back to them several times, stated they searched everywhere and reportedly couldn't find them....

Short Story I only paid $95 for a Week Stay and it was NOT worth 1/2 That amount !!!!. The Room Smelled of Mold and Mildew. The Bathroom had mold on the walls and the bathroom shower leaked water everytime you took a shower. The shower was stained, I made the kids wear flipflops in the shower. The "kitchen" area was... well, not the best. The microwave was brand new and worked perfectly. The mini frig, was dirty on the inside and the sink would not drain. We did call several times and each time they came and plunged the sink (didn't clean up the mess and it looked like a toilet plunger) YUCK !!! The Floors were stained very badly and the main bed was hard as the floor. The pull out bed was actually a little better than the main bed if you can believe that. The ice machine by the pool didn't work and the free breakfast was only bagles (waffle machine was broken). Oh yea and the shuttle service was not there for us. The shuttle was limited to 10 people per trip to disney (2 trips to disney in the moring and 2 trips back in the evening) so only 20 people per day can take advantage of this, and being a family of 5 there was NO room for us. and the ad states Minutes from disney, LOL, more like 30 minutes from disney

I was there on business, the hotel staff was nice and the rooms are large and clean. This was my second stay there in the past 3 weeks and I have enjoyed my stay.

The Inn at Oak Plantation definitely exceeded my expectations. Pulling up into the inn seems ordinary and just like any other travel lodge except more refurnished. But the staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean and looked great. I was kind of skeptical from a couple past reviews but I am glad that I didn't let those reviews get to me because it was a very pleasant experience. I definitely felt like i got a lot more than i paid for which made my vacation a lot better! Would definitely recommend to people with a budget. The king size bed and pull out couch was very comfy.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing fancy but clean and quiet bed and shower. Don't count on the continental breakfast, you'll get tired of it quickly. You're better off getting coffee and juice from Seven & Eleven next door! Overall, it's good for the price. I'd come again.

if you sit for a timeshare presentation tickets are given for universal studio or island of adventure and a no cost high sodium hot breakfast. the hotel and staff was great and very receptive. the location of the hotel is very convenient and safe. a recommendation: stay on the first floor after a long day out is refreshing not to use the staircase. the hotel has a no cost parking located in front of the rooms which is very convenient. one inconvenience the hotel sign name has poor lighting. I recommend Orbitz to book your package including Hertz for care rental and use this hotel plus you can use some the amenities from the resort.

This hotel wasn't bad at all. The inn part was kind of cramped feeling. It reminded me of my first studio apartment. I wouldm't recommemd it for a large family. 2 adults and 2 kids at the very most. The property was clean and the office staff polite. The bed was super comfy! Breakfast was a little lame. Waffles, bagels, and one or two choices of corn flakes.

Me and a few friends went for a vacation to universal studios and stayed at The Inn. We had a room with one king size bed which was pretty comfortable and a pullout couch which wasn't very comfortable but that was to be expected. The room was clean but there was only one bar of soap and one thing of shampoo. We had to call and ask multiple times for more and they didn't have that stuff at the front desk for some reason. Checking in and out was easy. The continental breakfast consisted of waffles, bagels, cereal, milk, juice and coffee. The hotel is pretty far away from universal(about a 30 minute drive) so we took the shuttle. Not only do you save on gas but a 12 dollar parking charge as well. This hotel is much closer to Disney World. They have two pick up and drop off times which was convenient. Be sure to reserve your spot on the shuttle well in advance as there are only 14 seats. Overall it was a good deal for the low price.

The location is very convenient to different stores around the area. The drive is not far to Disney World Theme Parks where we went. The small kitchen would be much better if there is a stove especially if you plan to stay longer. The ice maker in the building is not working. You have to go to the resort behind it to get ice or you can ask from the concierge and they are willing to get you some ice. The hotel's own pool is small but you can always go to the resort's pool. Also, you have to go to the resort area behind the building (you can walk or drive around)if you want an internet connection. You can also enjoy all the other amenities in that resort. The members of the staff, though, are not all friendly and accommodating. I didn't get the chance to see if they have fitness center, but that's not what we were there for, anyway. As far as cleanliness is concerned, housekeeping is great but they can only do so much, especially with the carpets. The building is not new and so with some of its fixtures. Breakfast is free (though very few selection and the same thing everyday, but well, it's FREE!). You have to present a coupon or else somebody by the door will ask you for this. Felt awkward but they must have a reason for doing this. Overall, it's great value and service for my money. Imagine, less than $250 for 7 nights. If you are looking for really excellent amenities, then, this is not the place for you, but you must be willing to pay the price. Why should I pay more if I am not planning to stay there most of the day? I recommend this to everybody who wants to get their money's worth and not very meticulous. I would definitely consider this hotel if I'll go back to that area again.

went to view shuttle at kennedy and local sghts. staff was very helpful. good location. able to use shuttle from resort which is short walk from inn. did take shuttle to disney world but had to call for pickup- so shuttle was over 2 hours late. ice machine was broken, so if you want ice must walk over to resort. did supply breakfast which was bonus. staff at resort was much more helpful than that at inn.

good rooms. they have to made big modifications to the breakfast. very boring. small space. the internet cafe was far away from the hotel. great location. problems with the ice machines. the laundry also was very far from the hotel.

It was a nice hotel. The only bad thing was the ice machine was broken, but they went and got us some from the resort. Nice rooms. Some of it needs updating, shower heads, nothing major. GREAT for the money. Friendly staff. Breakfast not so great. I could have done without the air freshner that they used, it bother my allgeries. But above all Great hotel. Will for sure stay again!!!!!

Over all it was fine for the price, but the room is old, the AC is rusted and it's loud. The door latch is missing, the couch and carpet is dirty. The pool was nice from the resort. Shuttle services is very limited.

the hotel location was excellent. we were near alot of restaurants, walmart, and attraction dining (such as arabian nights, medieval times, etc.). overall i would say the stay was pretty horrible!!! there were mushrooms growing out of the floor carpet!! we even have pictures to prove it!! oh, how i wish i could post them on here!!! there was mildew stains on the carpet. the maid didn't even clean our rooms properly during our stay!! the only thing the maids did was make our bed. they didn't even try to wipe down the countertops or anything (which had crumbs on it). the maid took our pillowcases off and never replaced them!! the shower curtain rod was about to fall out of the wall! the tub was slightly stained. the ice maching was broken and we had to travel to the resort to get ice. the parking was very limited several times we had to park 400 ft away from our room. the paint was on the wall was scraped off in some areas. the best part about this hotel was the amenities that were located on the resort that was connected to the hotel. the in the room refrigerator and microwave in room were convenient. compared to previous trips i have been on i would have to say by far this was the worst!!!!!
