Kulaniapia is situated on 22 lush tropical acres. Enjoy our private 120 ft. waterfall just 15 minutes from downtown Hilo. Enjoy Kulaniapia Falls, or stroll along the powerfull Waiau River to the Bamboo Garden and enjoy a pavillion that cantelevers over the river with views of our triple tiered waterfalls. Built specifically as a country Inn, our guest enjoy seperate entrances to their guest rooms, comfortable sitting areas, private balconies that overlook the ocean and our waterfall and private baths entirely finished in Itallian marble. Our rate includes a full breakfast with eggs cooked to order, fresh tropical fruits, breads, cheeses, juice, and plenty of our own brand of Hilo Side coffee. Check-in is at 2 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions. As a bed and breakfast property, the Front Desk hours will vary guests should contact the property to find out more information. What are your breakfast options?: Breakfast is included in our rate and it is a full breakfast including eggs cooked to order and Belgian waffles. Coffee is on from 7:00 am and breakfast is between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.
What transport is available to get around?: You can arrange tours with roberts hawaii, and mauna kea summit adventures for transport to Mauna Kea. We would recommend that you rent a car to adequately see the Big Island.
What can I do nearby?: At or near Kulaniapia, star gazing at the top of Mauna Kea, Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens, Akaka Falls, beautiful black sand beaches for snorkeling, horse back riding, and zip lines are all very close.
Do you have internet?: We have two desktop computers and we are wireless throughout. There is no extra charge for internet.
Do you provide parking?: We have a large parking area at the property.
