| The Hill Education and Conference Centre is an elegant restored country house, steeped in history and set in beautiful grounds overlooking the town of Abergavenny and the Blorenge Mountain. Perched on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, it is the ideal location for exploring the area. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities (some with showers, others with baths), and some single rooms are located in the main house. A warm welcome is guaranteed by our experienced and friendly team. Dinner is available but must be booked in advance. The premises are licensed but there are occasions when the bar is not available. Relax and enjoy a stroll around Gardd-y-Bryn, our restored Victorian Walled Garden with views of the surrounding hills. The Hill is the ideal location for business travellers or for using as a base when exploring the local area. Despite occupying a peaceful and secluded position. The Hill is within easy reach of the town of Abergavenny and easily accessible by road or rail being just 30 minutes from the M4 and M50. |

Transportation:
Abergavenny is easily accessible by car. Apart from the last couple of miles the journey from London, Manchester, Birmingham, or Swansea can be achieved without having to leave either motorway or dual-carriageway. From London: Take the M4 to Newport. At Junction 24, take the A449 and then the A40 to Abergavenny. (approximately two-and-a-half hours).From Manchester: Take the M6 south to Junction 10a and join the M5 at Birmingham. Follow the directions from Birmingham (below).(Approximately three hours).From Birmingham: Take the M5 south to Junction 8, join the M50 to Ross-on-Wye and then take the A40 to Abergavenny via Monmouth.(Approximately two-and-a-half hours).From West Wales: take the M4 to junction 26 and join the A4042 to Abergavenny
