i had to cancel my stay due to family illness and death. the motel would not take charges off because of late cancelation. not very personable service.

This is the only hotel near New England College, so unless you want to stay a little further out in Concord or at a B&B, this is the only choice. The staff was very friendly, and dining suggestions were right on target. The hotel itself shows some age, but it's perfectly servicable. It's right next to a ski resort, so don't expect brand new, pristine rooms. That said, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was high given the amenities, but that reflects the availability in the town.

Hotel room was very convienent for skiing at Pat's Peak. You can see the lifts right from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and made the stay much more enjoyable. The pool was perfect for the kids. For an older hotel it was kept up nicely. Room was a little small but we did just fine. Refrigerator, micro and coffee maker in room was great to have. Definately will stay again.
