Great hotel for the price. It was located in the Darling Harbour area of Sydney. One block behind George St. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a good hotel for a cheap price. The room was on the small side but it was very clean and modern. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in walking distance from hotel.

What a wonderful location! We walked everywhere. Our only issue was with the car parking facilities, we were unable to park near the hotel as they have limited car parking facilities, and had to park several blocks away at another station and carry luggage. (This was probably exceptional as it was the first night of the Sydey Festival and there were lots more people about). But something to keep in mind if you have a car you need to park. (the car parking facility they use belongs to another company and you can't book a space). Everything else was great!

We booked a double at a ""Secret hotel"" through lastminute.com, but were given two single beds at The Grace and told because ours was a ""mystery room"" had to take whatever they gave us. Such a scam, rude reception staff too. Rooms are small, no view or opening windows; there are a lot of better hotels with good staff and great views in Sydney - avoid Grace!

The Grace Hotel was very nice and clean. It was in a god location, withing walking distance to everything. The staff was friendly and nice and went out of their way to help us figure out what to do and where to go. The only thing that we didn't like is that they didn't tell us that is was $.90 to make a local phone call even if we had our own phone card. We spent over $20 just on the phone bill and it wasn't even long distance. Not really a big deal but it would have been nice to know beforehand so we could have used our calling card at a payphone for free.

I'm biased, the Grace is my favourite hotel in Sydney. Class and history oozes from its walls.

The Grace Hotel is situated close to many of the major attractions of Sydney. Most of them within walking distance. If you do not wish to have breakfast at the hotel. There are numerous cafes and Hotels in close proximity. The staff were very obliging. The Hotel also has a very interesting history which is displade in great detail in the entrance hall. I will certainly be making this hotel my next home away from home when I return to Sydney.

My family had a fantastic stay. Updated rooms: AC, great bed, modern. Beautiful full breakfast buffet. They even understood our needs with an 18 month old toddler: had coin washers/dryers, were near supermarket/ chemist, and moved us to a quieter room, that did not face the street (a bit rowdy outside at night due to ANZAC Day weekend).

I was booked in for two seperate stays in January. No food facilities due to kitchen renovations (although room price still exorbitant). The phones didn't work. Reception borderd on surly when I asked where I could make a phone call from, and directed me to a pay phone. Air conditioner in the room rattled terribly. Also given room with single bed despite requesting a queen. Stay somewhere else. There are plently of other options for that price with better service and facilities. Very disapointing.

We have not eaten in the hotel but there are plenty of eateries close by. Close to the main shopping stores in Sydney and Town Hall train station.

An excellent hotel which at A$160 represented excellent value. The room was spacious, the bed excellent and the hot water flowed well.

It's always a joy to stay at the Grace Hotel. Excellent central location with stylish, good sized rooms. One of my favourite Sydney hotels that I keep coming back to.
