The location is excellent next to the walking tail of clerk creek. The shower was not hot water - barely warm. I love the location of this hotel in Downtown Golden, you can walk the trail along clear creek learn history of Golden on the Washington Street Bridge or walk Downtown one block to restaurants and shops.

When I got to my room the towel bar was hanging off the wall and was never fixed during the 4 nights I stayed here. The water heater and air conditioning broke while I was staying. Everyone had to take cold showers until the water heater was fixed. Managment did not communicate these issues to the guests, we had to figure it out for ourselves. Management also did nothing to make up for the inconvenience and uncomfortableness these issues caused. My friend held a brunch in one of the small meeting rooms near the hotel lobby and it was probably 90 degrees in there. It is a good location, but I would never stay there again.

What a great little hotel! The best location - we were right downtown in the quaint old downtown & on the river too!Rooms are gorgeous - big fluffy beds, lots of nice touches like free bottled water, fridge, robes. Very clean & very comfortable. Staff are beyond friendly & the restaurant was great - especially the patio overlooking the river. Their burgers are awesome!
