What are your breakfast options?

The Fountain restaurant inside of our hotel is a wonderful breakfast/lunch place. They are open from 6:30am until 2:00pm during the weekday and from 7:00am until 3:00pm on the weekend. The average cost is around $14. Peggy Sues is another option and is a fifties-style diner about two blocks from the hotel. They are open from 7:00am until 7:00pm everyday and their average price is about $8. A good option in between would be Flames Coffee Shop located about 4 blocks away from the hotel. They are open from 7:00am until 11:00pm everyday and their average cost is about $11.

What transport is available to get around?

To get around to the major attractions here in San Jose, we have a Light Rail system that is easily accessible right behind the hotel. Major points (North, South, East and West) in Santa Clara County are easily reached for a one way cost of $2. We also have an extensive bus system called the VTA which has different access points less than 1 block away from the hotel. The cost is also $2 to anywhere in Santa Clara County. To get to major cities north of San Jose, such as San Francisco and Palo Alto, we have a train system called CalTrain which has a station about 3/4 of a mile away from the hotel.

What can I do nearby?

The hotel offers live music in the Lobby Lounge Tuesday through Saturday night. The performers range from dueling pianos on Tuesdays to live dance bands the rest of the week. Within one block of the hotel, there is a multiplex theater called the Camera 12, and within one block in the other direction is the Tech Museum of Innovation which is a wonderful entertaining and informative museum that is basically "Silicon Valley" under one roof.

Do you have internet?

The cost of using the internet per day is $13.95. However, if you are a member of our Fairmont's Presidents Club, the cost is free.

Do you provide parking?

Parking overnight at the hotel is $26 and is valet parking. We have a public parking structure right next to the hotel which charges $20 a day. After that, the price gets down to about $10 for lots that are about a 5-6 minute walk away from the hotel.
