Set in the heart of the city, the Fairmont Palliser is connected to the Telus Convention Centre, Calgary Tower and the Centre of Performing Arts. Numerous shops and restaurants are within a short walking distance. The Calgary International Airport is just a short drive from the Fairmont Palliser. The city's Light Rail Transit (LRT) and the VIA passenger rail station are also nearby.

The Fairmont Palliser offers 405 ornate guestrooms that have just been through a 28 million restoration and are appointed with new carpets, upholstery, and furniture. All of the rooms are equipped with amenities and entertainment features including Sony PlayStations, bathrobes, vanity mirrors, minibars and high-speed Internet access.

Built in the Edwardian Commercial style, the award-winning Fairmont Palliser first opened in 1914 as one of the Canadian Pacific Railroad hotels and was named after Captain John Palliser, who explored the area in the 1850s. It has historical furnishings including a lobby, once known as The Rotunda, that features an antique ticket office, telegraph and telephone bureau, flower stand and elevator hall. The hotel offers a variety of amenities including an indoor swimming pool and spa, a fully equipped health club, as well as meeting, conference and banquet facilities.

What are your breakfast options?: The Rimrock Restaurant serves breakfast from 6:30am-11:30am from Monday-Sunday. It is $20.00/person for Continental breakfast and $28.00/per person for full buffet.
What transport is available to get around?: For transportation to and from the airport, there is a shuttle company that we use called Allied Airport Shuttle. It is $15 per person each way. There is also the option of taking a cab which costs approximately $30-$40 and takes about half an hour to get there. For transportation around town, we have the C-train which goes from the Northwest to Southwest and also from the City Centre to the Northeast. There are many attractions along this route.
What can I do nearby?: We have Jazz Nights on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm-8:30pm in the Oakroom Lounge.
Do you have internet?: Yes, we do have internet access in all our rooms. There is a charge of $14 for 24 hour access. It is complimentary to all Fairmont President's Club members.
Do you provide parking?: We do have a parkade attached to the hotel called the Palliser Parkade. We offer valet parking at a cost of $37 Sunday through Thursday and $30 Friday and Saturday. Self parking Monday through Friday 6:00am-6:00pm is $6 every hour to a maximum of $22.00. Monday through Friday after 6:00pm, it is a flat rate of $5. The weekend rate is $6.00.
