An elegant 4 star, AARAC 5 Diamond, central Edinburgh hotel, within easy walking distance of Princes Street and all facilities. Family owned and managed by a very friendly staff, the Lodge Hotel is non smoking throughout. Most of Edinburgh's best restaurants, the theatres and cinemas are easily accessible from the hotel, as are the Royal Yacht Britannia, the Zoo and the airport. Beautifully appointed bedrooms and public areas assures guests complete comfort throughout their stay. Private bar for residents use. Free broadband computer connection for web surfingemails. What are your breakfast options?: We serve breakfast from 8:00am to 9:00am (Monday-Friday) and from 8:00am to 9:30am (Saturday and Sunday). Most of our rates are inclusive for breakfast however if your room is room-only it will cost £7.95 per head for breakfast.
What transport is available to get around?: You can take the airport express bus from Edinburgh airport direct to our hotel; the stop is called West Coates and is directly opposite our hotel. The cost of this is £3.50 for a single ticket or £6.00 for a return ticket. From West Coates, buses pass by every 5 minutes in to the city and it is around 5 minutes a journey or you can walk to the city within 10 minutes from our hotel.
What can I do nearby?: Edinburgh Zoo and Murrayfield Rugby Stadium are 5 minutes from our hotel and the city centre is a short 10 minutes' walk. Edinburgh Castle is 15 minutes from our hotel.
Do you have internet?: Our full hotel has Wi-Fi available for free.
