one night stayI thought this hotel was above what you would expect from a 3 star. modern, clean, hotel room. Very impressed with the two bar staff who served me on the night of my stay. My only negative was breakfast was not served on a sunday morning after 9.30am. Maybe for weekends it could be extended to 10am but I understand the same room is used for lunch and needs to be prepared.

Very good value for money when booked through Late Bookings .ComThis is now the third stay as we have relatives locally, the first visit was ruined by a lout in a near by room making noise all night. The Hotel is privately owned and this shines through in just about all areas. We do find the rooms slightly small, the Trainee receptionist kept me hanging on with the with the stock line of bear with me three times when i called to confirm a quiet room, but apart from this the hotel is as good as it gets. We certainly will return and often if the levels are kept up. Thank you Brend.

The room was good, and the food and standard of service in the restaurant was first class.

Only stayed for one night, the room was adequate size for one or two nights, very clean, bed a little soft for my liking,. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, staff were very friendly, only downside was the noise from the traffic very early in the morning if you had the window open, would definitely stay here again but would take ear plugs next time

one night staywe stayed on a sunday night so the value for money rating was very high - the room was a good size and the tv very large with sky - it was very clean and provided good shampoo etc the breakfast was excellent and the service first rate - the only downside was the nearness to the road which made it a little noisy in the morning but not excessively so -a definite recommend

Sat 6th JuneI stayed at this hotel for only one night due to a family wedding. I must say how pleased that I was with the service of the hotel, nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff. The room that I had was of a lovely size and spotlessly clean. The bar staff were very helpful and polite. The wedding reception was held there too and that was also carried out to a very high standard. Breakfast in the morning was also of a very high standard if you wanted anything that was not on display if possible it was provided for you. I have already recimmended this hotel to others if they find themselves visiting the Exeter area

Great ServiceNothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were all very friendly. The food was very good indeed. The room I has (room 17) had a single bed which was comfortable and well equipped. If I was down Exeter way again I would definitly stay here again.

Friendly staff; double bed small and hard - found it difficult to sleep the first night (there for two); pillows not great; breakfast was fine.

Room was clean, bright and well furnished. If I had any critisism atall it would be that the bedroom was a bit tight on space.

Fabulous!I stayed at the Hotel for a friend's wedding reception. The reception (held at the Hotel in the restaurant / bar area) was amazing and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The Hotel was very accomodating and let a majority of the guests check in around 3/4 hours earlier than specified which was brilliant. Booking through Laterooms meant that breakfast was also included and this was also great. A fantastic stay, would definately not hesitate to recommend it!

Very comfortable hotel in a really convenient location. Room and bathroom on the small side and a little dated but very clean and well equipped. Our room was on the front, very close to the bypass, so it was very noisy until late evening. Didn't have dinner but breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and staff were all helpful and friendly. Would certainly stay again if we could get a room on the back.

Ground floor rooms open directly onto car park motel style. Net curtains are only sufficiently opaque if sun is shining, so need to close heavy curtains for privacy. Rooms are small but bathroom is excellent. Also there is only a small opening window, so in warmer weather room is likely to be hot. Also noisy as hotel is situated at roundabout of Exeter ring road. This also means it is a 10 minute drive into the city, by a complicated route. Did not use hotel for dinner but breakfast was very good.
