Rooms were beautiful and everything was within walking distance of the inn.

Building has lots of character; good interior decoration; great bathroom. No air conditioning or window screens. Convenient, but unattractive location.

Our room at the Customs House was enormous and had a very comfortable king-sized bed. The bathroom was modern and nice. The main problem with this place, is that besides your room, there is nowhere to relax or socialize with other guests. There is no commom living room, porch, or bar. There are no benches outside. (There used to be a pub in the basement, but that no longer exists.) Another problem is that there are no ice/vending machines, or in-room coffee makers. The Inn does provide breakfast each morning, but there is nothing available at any other time of day.
