This hotel is trendy and fun, with clean, new fixtures and furniture. We were just passing through Denver, but this hotel was in the perfect area, walking distance to 16th street mall, the convention center, and tons of other places. We ended up going out for drinks even though we arrived late and thought we'd just stay in. We will stay here again. Also the price we got was really reasonable for the hotel.

It was fun and unlike most hotels. Close to everything. Room was a little small. This hotel is fun and has a unique atmosphere. I love how all the floors have a different theme. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything seems generally expensive though.

Staff were wonderful and the location was perfect. I liked diverse themes of the decoration each floor. However, not having a bath tub in the room made me less relaxing and uncomfortable and exclusion of breakfast was also inconvenient.

Very Friendly front desk staff; our room was ready and clean. Decor is cute...very 70's, yet contemporary. Price was reasonable for downtown and close to the 16th street mall. I would definitely stay here again!

The first room smelled like mildew. The second room's air conditioning did not cool properly. The third room was OK, however, there was a wet spot on the carpet, we found peanuts on the floor, and the room had a very slight musty smell. The bathroom/vanity area is very small. Breakfast in the restaurant was average, at best, and the service was slow. I will look for a better quality hotel next time.

My family and I (husband and 2 children) were looking for a hotel for a weekend getaway to Denver to see a Nuggets game. I found this hotel on online travel website, read the reviews and found a great price for this hotel. It is in a great location in downtown Denver and were were able to park our car in the hotel's garage (for a fee of $18) and not have to use it at all. We walked everywhere and took advantage of Denver's Mall Shuttle as well as the Light Rail, which took us directly to the Pepsi Center. The hotel also has complimentary shuttle service to various destinations in Downtown Denver on a first-come, first serve basis. The hotel was fun and family friendly. The room was very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable!! My kids borrowed fun games from the lobby and had fun exploring all themed-floors in the hotel. If I had to say one negative thing about this hotel is that you can hear everything happening in the hallway from any where in your room. The staff was also wonderful and very helpful!! Woudl definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone!

I loved the bed it was so comfortable. We ate breakfast and a repair person was putting some contact cement repair, while we were eating, which had an awful smell. The waitress/waiter talked to us as if she/he was our best friend and that we cared what kind of night she/he had. I did not care, but maybe I was PMSing however a little more professionalism would have been better.

Not a great place to stay. But with a cheap price, what else ought to be expected?

Decor and floors were fun. Could hear the guest talking in the next room. I would stay at the Curtis the next time we are in Denver.

My first trip to Denver and the Curtis. It fit my style and personality. The room was VERY comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. Every single staff member I came in contact with was friendly and helpful, almost to a fault. I especially liked being greeted every time the elevator came to my floor!

We were there for a family wedding. The location was great and close to everything we needed/wanted! Staff was helpful in finding directions to places we wanted to go and even printed out maps for us!

The Curtis was an awesome addition to our weekend getaway in Denver. From check-in to check-out, everything was excellent. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly, even printing out directions for us when needed! The valet staff were also wonderful!!! They were always ready to help and went out of their way to make our experience truly memorable. The rooms were very clean and spacious....The hotel is located in the best spot in the city! From the "zotts" on my pillow each day to the "ice, ice Baby" in the elevator, The Curtis was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone...I know that's where I'll stay next time I'm in town!

Cute decor, but sparce. That is where the fun ends. Hotel lacks all the "little things" that make a difference. I didn't have internet the entire time I was there. I booked the place mainly because of the promised in room WIRELESS internet. I had to cut my stay short because I couldn't get any work done and had to go home early to catch up. Room service was slow and food was cold (They got two shots at it with me). Valet wasn't available all the time (and I paid extra to have it!). When I decided that I'd had enough of all the small things missing that I expected to see in a 100+/night hotel, I began complaining. Three times I attempted to talk to a manager and never got a return call. I am now home and still attempting to get some satisfaction and still no calls returned since there seems to never be someone there that is in high enough position to hear my complaints.I was excited to try this swanky fun looking place, but was seriously dissapointed!! They didn't even have vending machines!!! Do yourself a favor, stay at the Marriott! I was treated nicer there and wasn't even a guest!!!!

Friendliest staff I have ever encountered and great location! Cool hotel with themed floors. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with all aspects of our stay. I would highly recommend the hotel.

I was a bit leery since I booked this based on price in a combined airfare package - and when I went to the web site, it's clearly not mainstream. When I arrived, it really did live up to its motto about "Stay Happy" the staff was pleasant, the decor was very fun and retro without being loud or obnoxious and the floor themes are fun (I stayed on the laugh out loud floor and checked out some of the others too...) The room was big and nice with clean lines everywhere. Besides, the location is great for convention center or performing arts center. The pool and fitness center are not open yet, but they did not advertise that there even was one - so once that's open, it will be the place I'll want to stay in downtown Denver. Really fun. You can even get board games to play in your room! Truly a place to stay happy.
