Accomodations were o.k., but the morning of checkout was not good! With the incessant knocking on the door (before checkout)it was hard to get a good feeling about the hotel at all. I think the people knocking to see if I had checked out could not comprende' what I was telling them!!! Very unsatisfied!! And that was my last impression? Yes.

Our stay was just what we were looking for. Convenient for us to walk to down town area's. Our room seemed to have a musty odor in it. Our stay at the Cove was delightful.

stay anywhere else. this place is dirty and the staff is rude. we were looking for a nice 4th of july retreat, and this place did its best to ruin our experience. fortunately lake geneva is great for kids and fun for families - even the cove couldn't mess that up!

I stayed at The Cove of Lake Geneva for two nights, a Friday and a Saturday. My stay was the same weekend as the snow sculpting festival which is held every year. My room, room 242, was nothing like the picture shown on the website. The hotel really needs to be updated. The parking situation is terrible. There was quite a bit of snow in the parking lot and the hotel had many of the parking near the entrances closed off. There were three rows of parking but no one thought to shovel paths through the snow to get to the building so you had to walk all the way to the end of the row (close to a football field long) to get to the building. Since this was a very busy weekend in town everyone that was attending the festival used the parking lot so finding a space for a paying guest was difficult. As for my room...it was dated and drab. The coffee table was so wobbley and unstable I dared not set anything on it. The furniture was uncomfortable and stained. Sleeping was not easy because the bed was quite uncomfortable and the noise was too much. My room was across the hall from an elevator, a snack machine and a soda machine. On Saturday I returned from a day of shopping to find that housekeeping had left my room door open. Thankfully, my room had not been entered by anyone else. I could not wait to leave this hotel. At one point, on Saturday night, I was close to getting up and going home early because the noise in the hall was so loud. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I will not stay here again.

Fire place, kitchen, whirlpool bath. Problem with other guests above us at 1 am – very quick response after call for help. Really nice! Pool, kitchen, whirlpool, fireplace, and attached restaurant very convenient and special. Will definitely come back.

Front desk was very unfriendly with bad attitudes.On the flipside cleaning staff was down to earth & friendly,just forgetful in getting the rooms altogether.(forgot towels & kleenex.)They gave us a wonderful view of the dirty unopened pool instead of beautiful Lake Geneva.I had explained we had never been there before,kinda thought they'd act kinder wanting us back.For the amount of money we paid,I expected a lot more...This is resort area-expect to shell out BIG bucks unless you make your way to walmart down the road & cook in your room.But no pizza pans are in the rooms,just pots & pans.This is partytown,do NOT expect a nice quiet getaway-MANY drinkers!Bring earplugs if you want a good nights sleep.Overall,for value I give this place a 1 out of 10.

Loved the atmosphere, and our room was beautiful. Would choose the ""C"" unit again..having a separate bedroom was very nice. Loved our trip!

Location, cleanliness. Comfort of the furniture in the room. This was a very nice facility, well maintained. We did have just one downside, the fire alarms went off twice one night, the second time being 4 am which was a bit unwelcome due to water pipe problems in the restaurant.

Loved the entire place, from top to bottom and left to right. The staff/management were very very helpful with all the question that I had. My children and I will be making a trip back this summer!!!

After reading some of the past reviews, we were slightly apprehensive to stay at the Cove of Lake Geneva. However, the staff was very friendly and personable. The rooms were the perfect size for a family of 5! Would strongly recommend it.
