It was a great facility with a very friendly staff. There was a lot to do and see all top notch. My only frustration was the cost for little things like water snacks etc. Had a great time and will in-spite of the of the $4.00 bottle of water, return at some future date

It,s a place you have to see . Nice rooms , good services , nice pool . Cain pool is great , but some times the music is to hard and to "club" .Some more relax music it will be nice .

The lack of value was the real problem at Atlantis. The hotel itself is like a huge shopping mall (eg Mall of America). The surroundings consist, basically, of a big water park for kids. EVERYTHING is extremely overpriced. The lowest priced rooms were each per night. We had a view of the tar paper roof and there wasn't even a coffee maker in the room.Breakfast was a stale bagel and a cup of coffee for dollars each. You can't get dinner on the hotel property for less than each. We played with dolphins. That 45 minutes of fun was an extra each. Carry a pocket full of five dollar bills for tipping everything.They'll try to take your picture everywhere and charge you big for it. If you ask for information, you're hit with a sales pitch for some time share. The place is great if you want to gamble and drink and hang out by the pool. You can let the kids run wild. It's not a bad place, but they're so blatant about leaving you penniless, that I couldn't relax. Instead, stay at the downtown Hilton or the Sheraton on Cable Beach for per night. Line up your day excursions ahead of time: Stuart Coves for snorkeling, Powerboat Adventures for a full day private island trip. Blue Lagoon Dolphin Close Encounter. Bahamas Paradise Ocean Do-It-All Package. Line up one excursion per day, with a nice dinner (try the Poop Deck.) You'll have a blast for half the price of Atlantis.

We went for our anniversary. The best part of this resort is that there are so many options of pools. If you stay at The Cove, you get access to all other parts of the entire Atlantis property. We relaxed by the adult pool each day. It was a scene and they played loud music, which we enjoyed. If you want it quieter, you can go by the beach or another pool. We enjoyed all of the activities offered by the resort. The spa was real nice and so were the restaurants. Be prepared to walk alot as it is such a large property. They do offer a shuttle to get you around. The casino was fun at night, but they don't have a poker room. It's a great hotel if you go when the rates are lower. Everyone from the Bahamas was extremely friendly and very service oriented. We are definitely planning to go back again.

Atlantis is like the Disneyworld of the Bahamas and highly geared towards families. Having said that, The Cove is the only one of the 6 properties that caters more to adults. They have an adults-only pool/nightclub that even boasts some gaming tables outside at the bar. But there are plenty of families at The Cove anyway. The most obvious drawback, however, is the cost. Be prepared to overspend on almost everything. Spent almost a C note on a sandwich, salad and two cocktais. But it is expansive and beautiful. Minor comments (pros and cons): bath towels were like sandpaper, but there's a Bose speaker in the bathroom ceiling that broadcasts the TV through it. There's an iPod player/charger in the room, and ours had 2 large flat screens TVs. Never a wait for the elevator, but no snacks in the mini bar. Our phone never worked properly and the a/c shuts off when you open the doors to the balcony (to conserve energy). Staff is friendly and courteous.

The cove was brand new and lived up to my expectations. Too pricy on food and drinks. Excellent accomodations. The cove is beautifully decorated and situated away from the other venues at the Atlantis.

All of Atlantis is beautiful, and can be experienced on any budget. The Cove, the Reef, and the Royal Tower are amazing properties, beautiful in every detail. The amenities are incredible. We love to take our girls down there at least once a year....they love the water slides and beaches, we enjoy a poolside lunch while listening to the local bands. Then after we shower, they love to go to Club Rush and spend the late afternoon dancing and playing video games with friends. My husband and I can then have a cocktail, or play cards or slots. We all get together for an early dinner, and crash to rest up for the next day's fun. The girls love painting pottery, or going to swim with the dolphins as well. It is a place where everyone in the family gets to enjoy their vacation. Folks can choose to stay at the coral or beach towers and still have all the amenities without the extra money.

We had a 4 night stay and can not wait to go back.. best advice - purchase meal plan before your trip direct with the hotel..the hotel is truly beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and view was out of this world... defiantly check out "cain" the adult pool, something to see for sure......also note- tips (gratuities) are included with every drink and meal, remember to look at your receipt to verify... otherwise, wow is all I can say, we will return in the fall

From the moment you step into the lobby of The Cove at Atlantis, you know it is going to be amazing. We did have a glitch at check-in where we got a smoking room but that was quickly fixed by the Manager on Duty. Check-in was very easy and everyone was friendly. The room was perfect for our needs. I guess the only down side was the bathroom. It's a little difficult to have any privacy in the bathroom when you are sharing with two teenagers. The frosted glass still lets people look in and only one person can be in the bathroom due to glass shower and frosted toilet room door. We managed to work around it...it just wasn't practical for sharing a space. The view was incredible from our balcony, we loved having the extra living room space so we could spread out a little bit, and it was decorated beautifully. What I liked most about the room (after staying in a luxury resort in Puerto Rico recently) was that there was no hallway or neighbor noise -- incredibly quiet for a hotel!

The hotel experience was fantastic. My wife and i celebrated our 30th anniversary and could not have chosen a better place or hotel. Staff was friendly, ammenities were fantastic. The beach and beach staff including servers were friendly and remembered your name. nice touch...Security was first rate...The restraunts were very, very good, gave us choices and variety. We ate at both the MESA and MOSAIC our entire time with one exception which was the one and only negative. The ambiance was truly peaceful and cerebral. The breeze way was our favorite spot in the evening, listening to the ocean backdrop and waterworks of the the garden. Atlantic Cove did it right! Transportation wss great and on time to and from the airport. Drivers were curteous. Reception Staff was professional and friendly and honest...I want to point our the young lady who checked us out on Saturday morning who discovered we were double charged one of our dinners and deducted the amount from our final bill...now that is service beyond call...while expected is very seldom practiced these days. The fitness center which i used was first rate and the staff was very good. Another reason to return. The one negative of the trip was the Majestic Cruise on Tuesday. We thought we were going on a nice cruise boat but instead were on an older boat, which was not very clean. The food was adequate, the staff while friendly, did not impress. I became bored with the "entertainment portion", the fire dancers and the limbo dancers were not impressive. Enough said, the hotel and experience was magnificent. With the family friendly environment, we are now considering bringing our grandchildren with us next time.

my wife and I travel to paradise 2-3 times a year and love the Atlantis especially the Cove. very high price but then it is a vacation in Paradise so the extra taxes and charges are well worth it. I found all that i and my wife ever wanted from Paradise and thats a piece of Paradise whatever the cost!!! The staff were very courteous, helpful and went out of their way. My room bar door wouldn't open. Within 5 minutes I had two technicians in my room fixing the problem. Oh! I should add that this was 11PM at night. The bar was fixed in 15 minutes. Grreat service. Will definately go back again and again

This is an EXPENSIVE place to stay. Be prepared to pay for a bottle of water plus tip, receive very poor service and absolutely no customer service. One person in our party got food poisining at the hotel. It forced us to leave a day early. We had prepaid for our trip and the hotel refused to credit back the for the two nights we didn't stay there. It was a battle and we sadly lost it. It took all the joy out of the trip for all of us. There are plenty of beautiful 4 and 5 star hotels on the island that are more willing to accomodate you. Please Please Please check them out over the Atlantis. The hotel was beautiful but not friendly. It has a cold atmosphere and the staff were so unhelpful. You can do a lot better for your money.

The Cove at Atlantis was everything I expected and more. We had a room on the club level. Throughout the day on the club level they served hot and cold appetizers that were delicious in addition to free cocktails. We had free breakfast every morning that was included with the club level and the food was excellent. The Cain pool was very enjoyable and entertaining. The DJ played great music all day that kept the crowd happy. Dinner at Nobu in the casino was fantastic...the atmosphere was unbelievable. Then we had a night in the Aura nightclub...very hip...but nowhere to sit...be sure and reserve a table. Dinner at the Mesa Grill was fabulous...order the tenderloin. Lunch at the Sea Glass was good. The lunch buffet at Mosiac was huge and the food was great with many choices. We will definitely go back. The only less than excellent experience we had was the Majestic bus trip from the airport to the hotel. The driver was very nice but the trip took over an hour and the traffic getting to the hotel was heavy. After traveling several hours to get to the Bahamas the bus ride from the airport to the hotel about did us in for the day. The only thing I will do different next visit is have a car waiting at the airport to take us to the hotel.

We went here for our honeymoon and had an awesome time! The Cove Atlantis was more couple friendly than the Royal Towers. RT seemed like a zoo with the casino, kids running around, etc. Cove had top notch service and the rooms were clean and gorgeous. Everything was expensive and we spent an arm and a leg on food, but hey it was our honeymoon so we went all out. Mesa Grill was delish!! Nobu was overated and Mosaic was great! We loved the versailles garden area and the fish fry (seafood haven), yumo! I had to travel for work the minute I got back, so we wanted a quick relaxing beach getaway. Bahamas was beautiful and the snorkeling was so fun!

We have been to Atlantis 6 - 8 times in the last 4 years. 3 times in 2008. We have been here 4-5 times total. We have always had a great time. The view is spectacular from the upper floors of the cove. Our rooms are always well cleaned and stocked. Yes there are alot of charges that can be called extras but the gratuity is included and you should not give extra unless you feel like someone deserves it. Most employees are friendly and polite. If you go to a restaurant for dinner it will be around $150 for 2 people wih a drink- around the same as what we pay at home. Drinks at Cain are $15-20 a piece. Know what you are in for and you will not be disappointed or surprised. This is not a place for the bargain conscious or a family that is looking for a deal, this is lavish over the top indulgence. A massage ends up being around $180 total and the fitness center is clean and comfortable to work out in. There are sundry shops all over the property to purchase anything you need. We have been here during special concerts, events and in January when it was cold. Our contact at VIP was and always is amazing and helpful. Loved the Duran Duran concert!! Thanks!!! Great Seats!! We were there in 2007 when the lights went out. There were heavy winds and rain for the entire trip- oh well! The cove is consistent in its service every time we go, if you are on a budget this is probably not the place for you. If money is no object see you there!!

We went with three other families for one of our daughters senior trip....this place is a zoo. For the money you spend it is not remotely worth it. The staff are very friendly, but you always get the feeling you are supposed to grease their palm for every little thing you ask. You have to get down to the pool/beach early to get a chair. We didn't know till we got there that you need to make reservations way way in advance for dinner. The Reef and the Cove are brand new and very nice and clean. Once you head over to the water park area, to me it was run down and dirty in areas. The place is massive, and crowded. Once you get there you are gouged for everything....10 dollars for a drink at the pool....they add the 15 percent gratuity on, but then hope you don't notice because they leave another blank spot for the tip. A cheeseburger from room service is 25 dollars....want fries with that? 7 dollars more. The prices are down right insulting. You area charged for everything. They even charge you to get on the internet, I think it was 5 for five minutes. There is a galley type kitchen in the room, but plan ahead, it is an 80.00 round trip cab ride to get supplies. I have been all over from Mexico to Maui, from Australia to Thailand, and I have always loved everywhere I have been. This was my fourth trip to the Bahamas, but first to Atlantis. We will never stay there again, or go anywhere near the place. Sure the water park is fun, with a few slides and the lazy river, but it is no where near worth what they charge. Atlantis is one big rip-off.

I love the COVE! I travel to Nassau 2 - 3 times per year and believe I have found a new home at the Cove. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. While on vacation, I like to read and listen to music which is now so convenient with the seclusion you may want or the the sound system provided in all rooms at the Cove. Without a doubt, everything there is very expensive; including the additional taxes on room and gratuity fees, but you what, when I am on vacation, I don?t want to worry about cost. I am more concerned about being on vacation and having the amenities available to ensure that I relax and enjoy myself. My goal is to relax and enjoy myself as much as I stress and work hard so for me the Cove is worth it.
