Very friendly, warm welcome.Very friendly welcome and always attentive, lovely people. Room was spacious and well lit. Very comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom. Bathroom dacor was a bit dated and the rest of the furnitire was a bit tired however. Room was overlooked by the owners accommodation on otherside of courtyard, so no real privacy unless you drew the curtains.

We have travelled extensively throughout the world and therefore stayed away from home quite alot, however bed & breakfast not being our forte thought before arrival, this will be interesting, indeed with trepidation we knocked on the door and any concerns were blown away. Our hosts were wonderful and it was hard not to think of them as long term friends. The room was on par with any three/four star hotel and we wished we had stayed longer. The breakfast was traditional full English and excellent. To the reader of this review I might add the author is not related to our hosts.

Absolutely beautiful room and very friendly owners, who got up at 5am to make us a full cooked breakfast before our early flight. Well beyond the call of duty. definitely the most comfy bed I have slept in at a hotel or B&B. Only vague problem was that it was quite hard to find, but they are putting up signs soon... Excellent and highly recommended, we are looking for another excuse to stay.

Directions to the B&B were excellent, the pub we were recommended for our evening meal was lovely + only a few minutes away. Breakfast was delicious + views from the B+B were idyllic

Very friendly, helpful hosts. Lovely views and excellent breakfast. The kids enjoyed watching the cows and bouncing on the trampoline. Would definitely recommend!

We have stayed all over the world. The pictures of the Courtyard can not convey the splendour of the view that greeted us as we awoke this sunday to see an earth bank gently leading down to a river with views across the flood -plain to the gently rolling hills in the back ground. In the field just beyond the river were a heard of pedigree cattle. They were shrouded in early morning mist which rose gently as the sun heated up the atmosphere. we watched this dawn picture of England at its best fron 0640Hrs when I woke my wife of to see the sheer splendour of it to 1050hrs when we and the kids had to leave this rural idyl to come home. The hosts Paul and Shirley will serve you breakfast individually cooked for you and locally sourced on the lawn as if you are a guest in their home. Well you are really! The family room was very large, tastfully apointed and very comfortable. We have stayed a lot of times at a 3* chain hotel in Exeter for £77 per night but why would you not want to upgrade to the quality of something like the Courtyard which will make you feel like a first class passenger.

Pub in next village good for an evening meal but it is a drive from the Courtyard.

A first experience of staying in a B&B (usually only stay in hotels). I am converted! A beautiful, modern, spacious room with two a large white beds with spectacular views over open countryside. Hosts charming and friendly. Took two young children and they enjoyed their stay 'in a strangers house'. Advantage for parents of young children, if the weather is nice you can sit outside on the terrace directly outside the room, after their bedtime, and have a drink whilst being able to hear if children wake up.
