My Partner and myself stayed here for a Weekend,Good pricing and close to all amenities,Hotel was clean but very old fashioned and the Manager was very polite and friendly which is nice. The breakfasts were a good size and enjoyable,We found the bar and restaurant staff very friendly all except one who was the restaurant supervisor but good grief didnt we know it !! Abrupt wasn`t the word and if she had smiled her face would have cracked and we certainly think she needs to learn her manners before being given a titled position.

Hotel is very datedThe room and the bathroom were clean and spacious ,but very dates especially the bathroom. TV should be in a museum. Public areas in need of updating also. They seem to cater mainly for coach parties. The manager, whilst very lively and enthusiastic chose only to speak to and look towards my husband when we checked in, and the same again at breakfast. It was as if I wasn't there. The breakfast was niceley cooked . but not being able to help yourself to fruit juices and cereals was a bit old fashioned. The main attraction of this hotel is the free car park which is always a problem in seaside resorts

This was my second stay here. The first time was with my partner last year and now with a group of friends. I would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay in Skegness and am sure I will be back next year!

On arrival we were greeted with a friendly smile and told we could park up in the car park even though we were early, we found the room basic, needs to be updated, the tv was a relic very old but still worked. Would stay again even if we brought the kids with us. great location. Very friendly.

Best In The County!!Lovely hotel, Ross the landlord personally welcomes and says goodbye to his guests, great food, good local knowledge, very helpful staff with good local knowledge, bar not too expensive, a good hotel for people who want quality over super-cheap.

See front room. Ross the manager stated that he liked to look after Late Rooms customers. Hotel was clean and tidy, but a step back in time.

When we arrived, the hotel had no record of our booking but the duty manager was very friendly and helpful and managed to find us a room. The room was at the very top of the hotel and was comfortable (especially the beds) but could have done with some redecoration especially the bathroom. The TV was very old with limited channels. The shower was lovely and hot but gave out very little water it was more of a dribble than a spray. Next morning, the manager was extrememly friendly and helpful saying we were booked in till the saturday and seemed unaware of the previous nights problems. Breakfast was served by friendly staff and was ample. The hotel was well situated for the towns amenities but far enough away not to be surrounded by drunks late at night. We enjoyed our stay and with a bit of tweeking this could be a really nice hotel, unfortunatelyat £65 a night I felt I paid alot for not alot.

Had a nice stay until I was rudly awaken by the hotel manager claiming that I had to get out of my room before 10am even though on my print-off it stated 11am. I found the manager of the hotel very rude when dealing with this situation. And this lead to me having to rush my belongings together and ruined the rest of my day.

:) A smart traditional style hotel. Staff were friendly. Room was nice with good view. Breakfast was promptly served. :( TV was rubbish. A little overpriced in my opinion.

Friendly staff and very clean, recently re-furbished. Reasonably priced but very small rooms. No room service for evening meals.

I asked for a lightly poached egg and got a very set one. My partner had the full English and got an egg that was so well cooked it was inedible. If a chef cannot cook eggs then they shouldn't be doing breakfast.Water went cold mid shower.Shabby place treated to a little wall paper and paint - not enough to detract from the shabby furniture.

A genuine 1934 art-deco building very little changed with a lovely air of faded elegance. Room and bathroom clean and well-maintained. Very welcoming host and friendly staff. Totally let down however by the food which was dreadful. The 'chef' should be fired. Breakfast egg was tiny and overcooked as was the gammon steak bar meal. Suspect the roast beef Sunday dinner was mostly out of packets - no evidence of any real cooking. Shame really as this hotel has a lot going for it. The restaurant could be a real winner with the right chef and some good marketing. Worth staying at, but don't eat there.
